I’d like to pour one out for Octavio because that dude had S-tier character progression. Anybody who goes from a desperate despot to an ally helping remix a 5-man collab on the fly deserves maximum respect.
I’d also like to pour out some ink for whichever intern came up with that nightmarish bad ending. Remember when all we saw after losing to Tartar was a funky sky? Now Little Timmy gets to witness the world suffocate in hair due to corporate-motivated genocide. Yay video games :)

The bad endings in both Octo Expansion and Splatoon 3 are really scary, like you just * * * *ed up once and the world ends (at least I didn't get splatted by a stamp)

Noteblock's editing for this was TOP of the line, the subtle movements had me laughing all the way home! It was a fast story mode, but GOD, the team didn't disappoint. Say what you want, I was happy to see so many elements mixed in from both story mode and Octo Expansion, and what a finale it was! I guess you could say, it went out with a big bang?

He actually completed it really quickly, meanwhile it took me two hours, my sanity, and resisting the urge to bite my switch in half, and I still haven’t beaten it.
And so, the world was saved. Mr Eggs was put to rest, but long enough so that Salmon Run could still be open everyday. Big Man was sued by Fintendo for illegal use of the Manta Storm name. And all of Splatsville was saved, all thanks to Dan (Failure) Failboat, and his Chat Shaped Pineapple Fish.
