I love how Qibli is just there. I’m pretty sure that young SandWing that General Sandstorm nearly killed was actually Qibli, meaning that Wren indirectly saved Qibli’s life by poisoning Sandstorm.

It does somewhat continue in book 14 as the Icewing queen meet our every so innocent Skywing, Sky, and though that, Wern with a mention of Ivy, Leaf and the other scavengers.......ohhh I mean humans as Wern translated the word into Dragon......

People can say what they want about Dragonslayer for focusing on humans, but I think the book is really great and the three stories it tells are done so well. Wren, Leaf, and Ivy rock.

Oh great! Thank you for another amazing animation. Especially with scavangers. Many don’t like them and consider them superfluous, but I enjoyed the adventures in Dragonslayer as much as in the main series and look forward to the sequel.
They are called humans since book 13 🤓
@@P1NKLIAM I also already prefer to call them that way, but some people may not have read it yet, which may become some spoiler. So I decided use "scavenger" which is more common.

Dragonslayer is my very favourite Wings of Fire book and everyone asks why. I normally give them about 10 reasons specific to me, but next time, instead of my usual ranting, I’ll just show them this.
This should seriously be the animation for the series!
This is so slay because the humans AKA scavengers are never mentioned much besides being hunted/killed/prey! I love that a whole short is for them! ♥️

You know,this makes me remember when I first read wings of fire and what scavengers were described as made me think of them as something that looks like a Featherless emu or ostrich and a couple books later there was a illustration of what that one sand wings dragon scavenger looked like and a size comparison and....let's just say I felt kinda dumb
