17 inch on 35’s and 3 inch lift perfect 👌🏽
Went Method 705 with KO2s @35, nice and light.
Thanks, this was helpful! I'll be picking up a Cherokee Trailhawk soon and will be lifting it and fitting new tires. No pimp wheels for me!
Come see us when you are ready to build it! We would love to help!
Great video!! This topic was WAY overdue.
Glad you enjoyed it Thanks for the support!
I’m sure the weight saved if any is minimal between say a 17 and a 20 inch wheel. I would think it would be the opposite having a 20 instead of a 17 would be heavier but I may be wrong. In general metal weighs more than rubber.
Great information but it would be great if you would cover the C and E load ratings and their applications as pertaining to the weight of the vehicle midsize truck vs full sized truck.
How the load rating effects the sidewall flex when airing down with a 6 or 7000 lb full size compared to a 4500 midsized truck.
Good luck finding that information. I've been looking for a way to understand if a Load C tire is strong enough for lower psi driving
@@eduardosanchez7827 That's why my suggestion is for Trail Built to do it. There's plenty of first hand experience on forums from guys on both load rated tires. I just wanted Trail Built since they sell both C, D and E load tires to a full range of vehicles to poll their customers or do their own testing or give some results based on their customer feed back showing the info on this.
Thank you for sharing your expertise and honesty ❤️👍👍👍
You are so welcome! We appreciate the support 🤘🏼😎
Good info 17 wheel with a 31 tire haven't done it yet on a 04 jeep grand cherokee with a 2.5 lift.
35's on 17's. Perfect.
Smaller sidewall is nice for that pavement Princess. However as you said not the best choice for off roading. Personally I still like my 17” with a 33-34” tire hight, and 10.5” width for my JLU
Notes for me: 9:20 recommended brands

Hello I have a stock 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited without air suspension I'd like my stock 18-in rims but I want to know the biggest tire I can go with I do occasionally go on the beach and some trails I am considering the BF Goodrich trail terrains any input you can give me would be well appreciated
2016 Jeep KL TH on stock 17" wheels with 32" tires. Wish I could use 16" wheels but the brakes won't fit... :(
Anyone know of a solution to fit the brakes?
Nitto trail grappler - what should the wheels weight be ? If Et0 or -15
Unless you're running a big brake kit, there's no reason to run a 20 inch on anything smaller than a 40" tire.
Is having a wider wheel track better for off roading ? Like adding wheel spacers to get a wider track?
Not really. More stable at extreme side angles but more likely to scrape the bottom, have rocks hits LCA, etc
These new plastic Jeeps need all the tire help they can get 😂

YOU DID IT!!!!
