I was the kid who liked a lot of candy other kids didn't - Necco wafers, licorice gumdrops, Good 'n Plenty, and candy corn. I also loved all the chocolate, caramel, Jolly Ranchers and other popular candy - explains how I ended up later with lots of silver amalgam in my teeth!
Yes! My mom had the soap, actually, she still does lol. My grandma had the colored toilet paper that matched the rest of the pink bathroom, and I remember, like a crocheted doll on the back of the toilet. I'm guilty of the decorative towels, but in the kitchen...my family gives me a hard time lol Great review!!
My grandmother bought those soaps for us to use… my moms soaps we were not allowed to use but I loved to smell them because they were usually apple scented… I love mallow creams… I don’t know if these flavors are ones I’d like… not a huge fan of “spice” but I’d love the maple and butterscotch ones… maple nut goodies, Mary Jane’s, bit o honeys and peanut butter kisses are all so good… I don’t eat them very often as they are pure sugar… I will buy a bag or two of candy corn and autumn mix mallocremes each year (generally after Halloween when they go on clearance) I know they aren’t expensive but since I know they will not sell out I don’t mind waiting… now the candy corn m & ms and hersheys kisses, those I buy the minute I see them!!! They are sooo good!!!
Yes, the cute little soaps in the bathroom, my aunts had those, and I thought they were so adorable and was always tempted to use them. In our house we always had pink and blue toilet paper too. lol
I miss the old school Mellowcreme Fall mix from the 70's and 80's with the little golden Haystacks in it. They always tasted maple to me. OMG I forgot about the little decorative soaps for every season back in the day. My mom always had beach themed soaps like seashells. 🤣
My grandmother had that decorative soap. She had a set that was pink seashells with a shell soap dish. Also, she had some that were pink roses. The pink rose soaps matched a pink rose patterned bath towel set. The seashell set was never out of its plastic wrapper. Tami, do you remember wax and glass fruits? I accidentally tried to eat wax fruit in a five and dime store.
I always say I like less sweet stuff, but I do like candy corn! Any more than one piece though overwhelms me... 😅 Kinda like fudge. But the maple and butterscotch ones seem pretty nice. If I could, I would buy a bag of just those.
Tammy my relatives worked for Brachs candy years ago in Chicago. Companies had to pay head tax for every employee they had. Here is the clip I googed👉 The factory ceased operations in 2003 and moved to Linares, Mexico. Founded in 1904 by Emil Brach, he invested his life savings, $1,000, in a storefront candy store. He named it "Brach's Palace of Sweets" and it was located at the corner of North Avenue and Towne Street in Chicago, Illinois.
Haha Tami your hubby looked at you like What! That’s when you said, that’s when old men have a candy in their pocket. You want one?! LOL. Tami you are a great story teller! I love those pumpkin soft candies. Caramel sounds good! This video is funny all the way round. Enjoyed your auntie stories too!
These have always intrigued me, I’d try these. I remember when you reviewed their turkey dinner, that must have been at least 2 years ago. Thanks for the review.
I remember the shell shaped soap. They were the color of the bath mats and toilet seat cover! 😂 I like being blindfolded to guess a flavor. Ugh, it’s a shame that they all didn’t taste well. The butterscotch is definitely my top choice then the pumpkin and maple. Thanks for a great review.
My sister is the Basic B**ch with Pumpkin Spice. I am the Candy Corn fiend. I would LOVE these. Anything Mellowcreme, candy corn and that stuff... that's my jam. Sister can keep her pumpkin spice lol
Thanks for this fun video! I am laughing at you saying you can't stop with a few but will eat the whole bag. LOL I love assorted bags, but I don't like when they contain very strong tasting or smelling ones with others. I am allergic to cinnamon, ginger, and a few other things (passion fruit/mango/kiwi) and it makes it impossible for me to buy them for the other flavors. 😞 They always meld together. That happens with candies, fruit, and even bagels (the cinnamon raisin bags are always next to the plain bagels and everything bagels and it makes them taste like cinnamon. That used to even happen in fresh bagel bakeries. BOOOOO I can't see why they cannot put the flavored types at the other end of the bin so it will be less likely to mingle!
I don't like Candy Corn but do like Mellowcreme. At Easter they used to have Mellowcreme rabbits, and I loved the banana and the chocolate ones. I've had bags of just Caramel Apple Mellowcremes in the past, as well as Maple Mellowcremes. I miss Maple Nut Goodies. I liked that hard maple shell. I wish they would just make a bag of the butterscotch. I'll have to think on this one.
@@TamiDunn They don't. They used to sell smaller peg-board bags of the pumpkins and the Caramel Apple Mellowcremes at Walgreen's for Halloween. Ever since Walgreen's stopped putting their ads in the paper, I hardly ever go there. I'll have to remember to check them out. I totally forgot about the PB Flipz and when I finally remembered to check our Walgreen's, none had them anymore.
Tami, I wish they would send to you ahead of time for your opinions, then they could have made the green just plain green apple! They look beautiful on a plate! I think with the larger size, you could put one on a frosted cupcake, OR put them all around the rim/top of a carrot cake after you put the cream cheese frosting on! (Just leave the greens off!). Would be so festive and pretty for the fall/ Thanksgiving!
I would have tried them anyway, but I'm sold on anything Butterscotch,as it's my favorite flavor!!They also will look pretty in a cute little candy dish for Fall.I grew up with decorative towels on racks and drying towels on a hook.I do the same now, but my family and friends do the same, so it's never an issue.lol
I quite enjoyed these as well! I was also a bit confused that the flavors were by colors and not leaf shapes, they should have kept the same shapes with the same colors lol.
My grandmother had those fancy soaps and fancy towels but we were sternly told that we were not to touch them. We were not allowed to use a certain bathroom either only the half bathroom in the downstairs. Mellocremes are not good anymore. They used to be creamier with better flavor. My favorite were the yellow ones that tasted like banana.
I used the pretty soap on purpose because I felt she should have offered regular soap. My thought was, "what is SHE using to wash her hands". I always thought she didn't wash her hands.

My aunt had a bear at one time on the back of her toilet 😄

I’ve always loved the texture of these. Sounds delicious
So good

Brach’s is a good brand!
I hope these come to more stores, I love mellowcreme anything (and the pumpkins are my favorite too)
Hello good so good to see you again the candy sounds really good
Thank you 😋
ITSA SPOOKY MONTH!!!! :D
I'm excited to find these. I love the pumpkin ones and these sound really good.

The toilet seat cover 🤦🏼♀️🤣🤣

🙌🏻🙌🏻
Thay sound so good l wish we could get them here in the UK great review thanks for sharing x❤
Weis market got these in..The butterscotch and maple are very good!
My grandma had those soaps and I got into trouble for using them all the time as a kid LOL
My sister is the Basic B**ch with Pumpkin Spice. I am the Candy Corn fiend. I would LOVE these. Anything Mellowcreme, candy corn and that stuff... that's my jam. Sister can keep her pumpkin spice lol
I’d rather have these as well!

This is more reason why they should make bags of single flavors. It must be very frustrating.
@@TamiDunn That is true! But I guess they can't sell single flavors or don't feel the need to care!

Unfortunately, I don’t think they offer smaller bags. I wish they did for people who are on the fence.

I didn't like the green ones either, but the butterscotch didn't have much of a taste in my bag 😢
The green need to GO 😂
Maple Nut Goodies were my favorites but they were canceled 3 or more years ago.
They were my favorite too.

I love these ideas!
I buy this bag and pick the spice out of it, lol?
Thanks for reviewing and sharing with us. I’m glad you did too.
Enjoy the candy and your day.
I think you will enjoy a lot of these flavors 🎃

They are very good except for the green one.

Right?!

I figured my aunt should be happy I was washing my hands 😂
I’m looking for these. Tried cvs, Walmart and other stores. They don’t even have these on their website. 😢
Im thinking next month these will be at Target and Walmart when they set up their halloween sections
They sound good
Butterscotch yum
You could decorate with the green ones, set them out on a plate! 😂
That’s a good idea!
🧡🧡🧡great vid
Thank you 🎃
I love butterscotch candy but I’m not a fan of candy like this. Way too sweet for me
My Mother in laws bath was like that I just used water and air dried my hands 🫣
I used the pretty soap on purpose because I felt she should have offered regular soap. My thought was, "what is SHE using to wash her hands". I always thought she didn't wash her hands.
My dad l used to love these 👏 I’ve never been a fan though. 🤷🏻♀️
I was waiting for this review! Definitely will be picking it up just for the butterscotch and maple pieces!! Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
It’s worth it!
Are these new?
Yes
Throw away all the green ones
I just had these and the green are trash… they taste like potpourri 🤢 I wish they were all yellow 💛
