Riska is not a pet. She still live in nature. Real river .. Mr. Ambo meet her in river to feed riska. Or riska come to his house sometimes. Most of time riska stay in the place she has to stay in the jungle river. Freedom.
Mr.ambo and riska has a special bonding that only between two of them who can understand.
Mr.ambo meet riska 24 years ago when riska still 1 meter long. She kept close and follow ambo and his boat. Ambo keep feed her in his way to home . That make them close in years . And riska now feels that ambo is her dad. Unbelievable ? Thats the fact.

can you imagine a village containing about 300 people have to live side by side with 1000 more wild crocodiles..
Of course wild crocodiles are not afraid of humans because there are more of them.
Why are humans not afraid of wild crocodiles because they have to live with them every day
if you look at the map of the island of kalimantan, 70% of it is swamps and rivers..
That's why they build a house by the river
and yes they produce garbage and sometimes it piles up on the edge of the village to be burned..
they don't have the technology to process plastic waste, it sometimes hurts the wild crocodiles around them..
some wild crocodiles sometimes get sick because of garbage..
