What made Midnight so incredible was NOT his vocal range. No!...it was his ability to EMOTE as a "story-teller". He had a HUGE dynamics toolbox and more vocal tricks, tools and tones than anybody on planet Earth. Midnight was a Broadway theater singer and ACTOR in a metal band. Oh,..yes, he also had a crazy range too.
