Great work! You don’t need a valve compressor for a Cub. I just finished a 100% tear down of a ‘57 Cub. New everything. Sunday was the first fire up. Used a pony tank to run it prior to putting the hood on. Everything worked as it should. The hydraulic unit rebuild was my main concern. Runs beautifully! The tractor and I are the same age. The irony of my own wear and tear is not lost on me. Keep that tractor. They are very handy in the garden. I have cultivators, Woods quick hitch mower, quick hitch planter, belly mower, disc, moldboard… Amazing machine that never gets old. Texas Rancher.
Nicely done, back to basics, make a place, then do the work... Label the parts... This is a video I could show my wife for understanding... Nice Shop, looking forward to the rest of the story.
That was a really well put together video. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to seeing it back together. Well done! FYI, you can compress those flat head valves by sticking a heavy straight screw driver into the exhaust and intake ports. At least that's how I did my 9N. 👍
Cool tractor. my grandpa has a 1953 super A, it has had nothing done to it except oil changes, tuneup, and starter rebuild since about 1978 and it still runs like a top! Also I’m trying not to to be too jealous of how much space you have in your shop😀.

Thanks for that tip. I got them
out with my buddies compressor, but will remember that for next time!
Awesome job. I’m doing exactly the same thing for my Cub..
Very cool! They are awesome machines. I’m waiting on a few more parts and then the engine build will begin

These old Farmall’s are hard to beat! Super A’s and M’s are some of my favorites. The shop is a work in progress. Hoping to finish it up this summer
Cool vid man
Thank you
just saw you on instagram so im following and subbed
Thank you! Hopefully you like the videos
I’d like to have a cub with a belly mower like that. If I have to mow grass I’d rather do it with something interesting.
I’m excited to see how it does this summer. I think it’s a 60” mower deck so it should cover some ground!
What editing software do you use? Great quality video. Very entertaining
Thanks! I use iMovie and VSDC both. VSDC is a free download. Glad that you liked the video!
