It's sort of nice but the price is beyond belief. Yep you're right about the weird 'gunmetal' wheel colour. Just marks down what could have been awesome.
Nice to see another N Scale video from you. James certainly looks nice, actually surprised they gave him open windows, but the bump under his face is so distracting imo. Still, I'm totally going to pick him up when I have some extra cash.
Nice to see N Scale James reviewed He's a tad better than expected, but he does have a lot of flaws, such as the round bit above his smokebox, the oddbod face, the painted on cab roof whistle and his pulling power. However, they can still be overlooked aside of the worse James has been getting in the merchandise nowadays. i'll gladly look forward to when Toby will be presented. BTW, the N Scale range isn't the only one to have cases to pack their engines. there is the 009/HOn3 Skarloey Railway range, and they are stored in boxes/aimed at the same ages 14+ speaking of which, i am planning to get Peter Sam soon.
Nice video here . Tho you didn’t show the comparison between tomix Annie and clarabel behind Bachman James and bachmans troublesome trucks behind Bachman James
From afar this model looks great but when you get a closer look it could be better in places. I'm not a fan of the face mainly but the cab is the biggest letdown by far
Glad you compared the tomix too, I know not to bother with that if I see one.

My main disappointment, with James is his pulling power, they really should have put power pick ups on his tender so they can fit some traction tires.

Peter Sam looks great! Should be a nice model for you :)

Do you have a video about your layout? It looks great!
Thank you! There is a brief one on my channel mid construction - otherwise it's where I shot Bachmann Adventures 1 and 2 :)
James looks pretty solid
How tall is the Bachmann N scale Thomas from top to bottom? Also, what N scale engine from Bachmann are you hoping for to come out in the future?
