I don't have my AVP yet, but there are a couple of ways to power it down without removing it from power. You can power it down just as you would an iPhone, just press the buttons down (digital crown and top button) and hold for 3 seconds, then a slider pops up. You can also go to settings > general > shutdown....

Thank you, as thorough as usual. Can one work with HDR in Lightroom Classic on an amateur basis, or is HDR something to be forgotten when editing photos on this software? My iPad in reference mode is really too small, and I cannot afford a Vision Pro and an XDR! Thanks

Yeah, HDR Preview is not available in LRC with vision pro, but I'll double check this. You can use HDR Preview on the 14 & 16" MBP thought

Use case for artists - use the vision pro as a projector to transfer an image onto a substrate. Also, and you briefly mentioned this idea but I want to emphasize how big a deal this is for artists.. use vision pro as your computer’s main screen with a digital tablet with digital painting tools. This would replace a cintiq and also get you away from being tethered to the desk.

We've just invented a device that blocks out reality like a pair of closed eyelids, replacing it with an illusion for the mind while our body stays in the room. We've just invented a device in which we're miles away in something that looks like a world of matter but isn't.
OMG, I had the BEST dream last night! I was on my computer desktop in real time. I could look over my icons, launch them and be productive!
Wait, that's the most boring dream I've ever had, EVER! But it's given me an idea: let's turn my extremely BORING dream into a device and put it on the market!
Basically, we've just invented a device in which we can escape into the best dream we've ever had...and the software industry wants us to go into a simulation of that same space, the one nature devised for escaping the world of work, and stand around with nothing to do but work.
No wonder it's failing to attach.
VR is a dream shaped canvas - no more a productivity screen than is an IMAX theater. Are you an artist or not? Then, get with the program!

Lots has been talked about that already and it is good, strange and wonky at times :) I might do another video talking about this

Great video. Love the “possibilities” thoughts you shared. Will you answer a question that has been driving me crazy; what is the problem with only one Mac display in Spatial Computing? I’ve never used two monitors so I’m curious. Almost every reviewer’s brought this up.
In the AVP you can resize one window to mimic two monitors, open other apps, open Safari windows and change text sizes. No one has explained exactly what the problem is, just that it is a problem.

It is mainly the ability to have 2 displays. I prefer to have my pro apps open on different displays so I can reference them. You can have them side by side, but that also makes the app windows you are using smaller. This is mostly preference-based. The way how you would resize the windows is the same as what you would do on a Mac since it is a virtual display. I hope this helps give some clarity. I might do a video about this later on.

@@ArtIsRight that’s what I don’t understand. In Spatial Computing you don’t have the physical limitations of a real display monitor. You don’t need to buy two 27” monitors when you can just open up a 54” window in the AVP and place the pro apps side by side.

Yes but right now only 1 desktop / display mirroring is supported.
