My finance advice was told never to spend more than half your savings for house deposit as need money after but sometimes that’s impossible! I’m still saving for a house as a single parent and cut everything out my life for myself again for next 2 years to save for it , hopefully it works 🙏 house buying is not easy - well done on your journey !
Love the moving house vlogs 😊 With the soap, if you want to decanter it into a different bottle I’d recommend buying the big refill bottles of soap. It would work out cheaper and would reduce plastic waste

I always have a quick look at my till receipt before I come out of any shop, as I'm always being double charged for something. The other day I popped into my local supermarket, only bought five items and the most expensive item had been scanned twice. Luckily I spotted it straight away, as this particular supermarket is the worst for double scanning.
My dad did London Edinburgh London a few years back and he had some great stories to tell. Lots of hallucinations 🤣 A hard challenge but he absolutely LOVED it and is so proud of his medal!
My dad did London to Paris, and we did a big jumble sale. It made loads of money, and would go well with your ethos too of buying second hand. Just got everyone to donate and advertised it really well. X
A couple of money saving tips for you. In Tesco (and possibly other places too) you can get carex hand soap refill packs which are much cheaper and then you can decant into other dispensers. Also, have you considered supermarket versions of own calpol. My kids much prefer the taste and it’s much cheaper. Works exactly the same ☺️ Congratulations on your house move 💐

So often these days, when you're at the checkout they ask if you want the receipt or not. Of course I do! So many mistakes are made on receipts, not deliberate I know but I'm old school, I check my receipts. Not item by item but I give it a look through and have caught a few mistakes. Like you said with the power bars, sometimes you pick up a bargain and then find it's not. At least if you know, you won't do it again.

We are set to close on the sell of this house and the purchase of our new house on April 11th, we will also need new furniture. Our new house has a 2nd living room, a back patio, and a 400sq ft garage we will convert into a playroom. So we need to buy things for that room and of course a shed to store garage stuff. Our new house will be better than our current house in every way! Especially the neighborhood! It is a quiet street, sidewalk, cul-de-sac at each end of the street, nice, safe neighborhood across from the lake. The neighborhood we are living in now is very shady, no sidewalks, my 3 kids don't play our front at all. Dogs running free, that chase people. We are praying everything goes smoothly. Our first buyers fell through, but we just accepted a new offer last week, good thing too because we have a contingency that says we must be under contract to sell within 30 days (15 now) or else the seller of our new home can walk away :( . I am so happy and excited for you!!
It is very easy to double scan something especially as most stores have a scan speed they want their assistant to maintain. I love it when I work on self scan (not home bargains) and a customer calls me over and says - it has scanned it twice; no YOU scanned it twice!!! Lol. Thou I never say that. X.

Check out b&m and download the app you can scan items before you buy and find some amazing bargains Also the drawer deviders are cheaper then in ikea but ikea is better quality And for children you can get free calpol and ibuprofen from the chemist it's called care of the chemist
She is ok, she’s not totally settled though. She walks around a lot not really knowing what to do whereas she used to just sleep all day long before! But she’s not too bad. She’s actually quite playful at the moment xx
