I like tanks like the Maus and Bourrasque, and even completely OP tanks can still have a very high skill cap. The TS, though, suffers far too much from Chieftain syndrome imo.
There’s a lot of boomers on the NA server that are about as smart as a bag of hammers. Makes for very odd plays, yoloing and camping, NA is an extremely unpredictable server because of this.

No way this tank is OP. Id actually say it's an extremely well balanced tank. Hull down it has two massive weakspots that can be penned by everyone coupled with only 8 degrees of gun depression. Tier 7s like t29 can hull down better. It has low alpha so against someone with aim they will out trade you unless you hit both double shot. It has a massive underbelly and can be penned sidescraping through the turret ring. You could bully tier 6s in pretty much every tier 8 heavy. Compared to the absolute game breaking toxicity of BZ 176, XM57, bourassque, elc and skoda this tank is a blessing. More premiums should be this way, it doesnt even have crazy high pen premium ammo. TS54 is just a fun tank tbh, it has double shots for satisfaction but with not crazy OP alpha, and good gun handling with makes it not fustrating. It's a decent tier 8 tank not a tier 8.9 tank like the other p2w toxic premiums.
In terms of server gameplay what i have seen is: EU - higher skilled average player, players are more toxic, gameplay is sweatier. NA - More co-operation, more Yoloing, more interesting plays Asia - More predictable, more rewarding for skilled gameplay, more bots. RU - Insane tanks but the average player is worse (probs due to hardware), matches are slower and you have a lot less 3 minute battles. Also, lots more maps.
RU is fully toxic we have lots of ex Russian on EU server and they only think of themselves they think cheating as the only way forward and every other player should allow them to pad their mediocre stats more and more. Look at Skill4u attitude about a year ago to cheating he had no issue till he realised the EU player base was disgusted at his comments and he tried to back pedal.

Ive seen more toxic behaviour from Polish players on EU than from all people on RU. I mean on EU id say 1 in 5 games have major toxic behaviour, RU its more 1 in 25.

This tank clicks so well for me that I'm on track to 3 mark it , I have never gotten a 3 mark due to the stress but I'm getting 3 mark requirements on average .
Sometimes it’s best to step back and take a breather. It took me hundreds of battles to get it right with my Maus, and it was a lot of time and dedication on my part to get the 3rd Mark. It felt incredible to have finally done it, but I also think that there were so many better ways I could have spent that time. 3 marking seems like it’s right around the corner, but there is always some kind of setback, some set of battles where all 3 arty focus on you for no good reason that will bring the percentage back down. In my experience, it’s a much more frustrating process than it might initially seem and I would recommend not doing it unless you’re a patient kind of player. It’s a fantastic experience when you can do it on a hard tank, but it’s also such a time drain and it makes every form of bad RNG feel like a nightmare when you’re getting close. I always wish I had taken a few steps back and paced myself when I started chasing after marks.
TS-54 should work like the sub rewards in FFXIV, if you sub for X amount of months you should get to keep it permanently. I find it hard to get excited about a tank I can only ever rent

I play on the N/A server and there seems to be a ton of new player base, so lower tiers are thriving. I play mostly tier 8,9 and 10 and depending on the time of day normally in the evening you can run tier 8s and have a lot of all tier 8 games. But i rarely play were im in tier 8s and see any tier 6s. I have been playing for over 14 years now on only the N/A server and i have notice in the last year or so the players are very aggressive. But unfortunately they are over aggressive and make bad plays get themselves killed and then blame everyone else.
Watching the vid a second time, to check if you mentioned this, 'cause I was equipping mine, I noticed that any crew from any tank is ok, IE, my dudes from a medium tank don't get the "wrong tank" red icon, not background, and there seems to be no penalty at all. So yeah, if someone's reading this and noticed the same, please let me know if it's just a freak detail (and them dudes are indeed being penalized), or if it's just a cosmetic bug of sorts (where said "wrong tank type" doesn't show up). I think North American servers were smaller with less people so they tend to be more action-packed otherwise nothing will happen and people get tired of waiting for matches just to wait in some bushes so they want stuff to happen is my guess
Nice vid Kajzoo. Perhaps you could make a video showing how to complete some of the trickier missions for the Obj 260 that you've been grinding on NA, a vid for the HT missions, then another for MT and LT. I play on both servers, if I could get better ping to EU I'd play more there. NA seems to have a fair amount of newer players who either zerg rush and die, or are camping. EU seems to play a bit campier, but then again typically if I'm playing on EU it's later in the day/midnight EU time, so perhaps that had more to do with it than in regular hours.
you should try playing NA server tier IX or X at 2-3AM PST. it's mostly sweaty tryhards out at that time, makes for some... interesting gaming experiences and very fast games.
Rating a T8 on how well it performs against T6 or mostly older T8's is not really working on the EU servers. At normal times, you usually end up about 30% of the battles against T10s. (Outside of holiday ops. Most of the ppl seem to grind credits on T8 rn.) The value wot+ offers for long time players is more on the low side. That is one of the reasons, why not so many players play this tank. I am on the 30-days trial period of wot+ and havent considered playing that tank yet. Its crew layout is odd for an american heavy rank, but due to the special conditions of the vehicle you can use any american crew for it. Some of the tds have a matching crew layout (like the T110E4). One special highlight is, that you even can train artillery crews with it, except for the radio operator ofc. The stats of the tank dont look outstanding in any way. With a premium penetration of like 252 it will have big problems with any stronger armoured (T10) vehicles. Another smaller problem is finding the tank in your garage. It is classified as a rental tank and finding it is tricky. You have to turn on showing rental tanks, which I personally usually have turned of. I have plenty of tanks and dont care about rentals in any way. Many players regularly bring up the discussion, if WoT is p2w or not. There is a small bonus that is p2w and it somewhat comes with wot+: You can freely swap standard, T1 experimental and bounty equip with wot+. Once you earned a full set of bounty equip, you basicly can outfit and play every tank with those, giving you a small bonus over ftp players. (Not to mention that you can earn bounty equipment faster, when you buy the extended battle passes.) Its not directly tied to wot+, since you also simply could pay low amound of gold for re-using the bounty parts on any tank. If your a very active players with like swapping the tanks 2-3 times a day and maybe playing at like 200 days in a year, around 30k gold should be enough to do so and the price range is very close to 1 year of wot+.

Yeah I'm personally not a fan of this tank. It's a "heavy" that feels like a medium both in terms of the gun and the armor. The hull might as well be made of paper and the turret has like 6 easily hitable weakspots that you can't hide and still shoot.
It's a good tank and fun to play, it's premium so it is better than many other tanks same tier. I don't have wot plus anymore in protest of WOT needing to fix some of the game issues.
If I remember correctly there was an option to try one month wot plus for free so that's probably why many tomatoes played with ts54 and lowered the average win % Edit: watched to the end and apparently the free trial is still available :)

You should have played the game 14 years ago like i did were there was no MM you could be in a tier 4 or 5 vs tier 10s now that sucked. Shooting a Maus in the butt and not penning 30+ rounds was no fun. So people complaining about 2 tier MM makes me laugh. Not trying to say you in particular but just read your comment.
I use to play on NA and I have purple stats on that server now I play on the Asians server with dark blue. The NA server has so many bad out of position players to farm off it’s amazing they just drive in front of your gun.

If they know to shoot those ears you get absolutely destroyed. When they don't... I got around 9000 damage blocked in full t8 match in this thing during wot+ trial.

tier 8 on NA server is not hard at all. lots of boomers and tourists. but the full tier X games on NA are real sweaty on average
The issue is that wot plus attracts terrible players. I was able to 2 mark the ts54 without even trying, it's absolutely overtuned
Ts54 is what the tech tree is2-2 wants to be. Almost identical gun, but it has better rate of fire, better salvos, better armour, and better mobility
Initially it was very mid. Then they literally buffed every bad aspect and it became better IS-2-II.

It is the feature of TS-54: you can put crew of any USA tank type without penalty-you can mix the crew as well

That tank is good. I have 10K battles, I play since 2011, so cca 800battles per year and I have with it 55% win rate. 200 battles with this tank.
218 pene with AP is enought vs. 8 and lover, T9 +10 needs gold spam...
I dont like lower plate, so weak and difficulty to hide, also 250pene+ Can pen upper plate, 300+ turret. T 10 with gold dont need to aim.

Accurate gun ? I do not hit with it even with vert stabs. Compared to 703 II it does not work for me :D

After watched this video I tried for a few rounds and I can conclude that NA players are build different (Asia server)
Na player, can say NA players are 50/50 potato or unicum in t8-t10
I mean. It’s the same in every other server, I recently tried EU and I’m an NA player it’s the same thing, I’m playing super unicum on both I can’t see a single difference

Not one tier IX was harmed in thi video lul also full gold against tier 6-7 ofc the tank will perform in those situations.
i dont think the gold mattered much against the tier 6s and 7s. definitely helped in the siegfried line game though
NA is fucking horrible for gameplay. Mostly when you get stuck with trash teammates, but at the same time you can have incredible games
all servers are horrible. have you watched streamers.. on EU half the enemies just pull out and get farmed just like all three servers I play on. EU NA ans RU
