First discovered this song about a year and a half ago and I still come back to watch the video at least once a week. It's hypnotizing and I'm in love with everything about it. My parents played a ton of Hall and Oates and Steely Dan when I was younger, and I'm from Chicago-- this song manages to feel so sentimental but so fresh at the same time. The lyrics are so well-crafted ("I need a light 'cuz I'm no self starter" I mean come ON!!!). It was my most played song of 2017 on Spotify, and I think it might just be my favorite song of all time. It makes me emotional in all the right ways. Goddamn. What a jam.
