@@Андрей-я4т4н Right. I know that Jackie is a couple of months older than I am and the movie was released September 9 1972. So we both were 18 at the time. So thanks for the info; appreciate it.

Those “sound effects” were actually part of the soundtrack. His opponent is Robert Baker, one of his students and one time bodyguard. Bruce even dubbed Baker’s lines for the Chinese version.
The Russian fighter's name is Robert Baker who was a hand pick student of Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune do classes. The stuntman flying across the yard in the last scene was a 17 year old Jackie Chan who also did stunt work in Enter the Dragon
That was the first Bruce Lee film I ever saw. In late 1974, I was stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA. Just off base....in Oceanside...there was a little theater that used to run double & sometimes triple-features of martial arts movies. Really corny Chinese stuff.....BUT....every once in a while, they would throw in a Bruce Lee film, and the place would be packed full of Marines.
About that creaking sound, from Wikipedia: Sōzu is a type of water fountain used in Japanese gardens. It consists of a segmented tube, usually of bamboo, pivoted to one side of its balance point. At rest, its heavier end is down and resting against a rock. A trickle of water into the upper end of the tube accumulates and eventually moves the tube's centre of gravity past the pivot, causing the tube to rotate and dump out the water. The heavier end then falls back against the rock, making a sharp sound, and the cycle repeats. The noise created by these fountains was intended to startle any herbivores such as deer or boars which may be grazing on the plants in the garden, but shishi-odoshi are now a part of the visual and aural design of gardens and are used primarily for their aesthetic.

I love that young people are starting to get into BL and his movies. Noone does fight choreography like this anymore. To develop the skill frame the scene. Follow the action with the camera. Keeping the subjects in the middle of the shot keeping the camera still. He was expressive and magnetic. His energy was off the charts. I loved and studied BL JKD his Jun Fan all his movies even movies about him Like Dragon the Bruce Lee story and The Chinese soap opera about him. Dragon TBLS is my favorite movie, but The Soap Opera is amazing. It's more detailed and has Tyrone in it his black student from Oakland school that he took to china to do The Big Boss. His black friend was primarily why the Chinese gangsters wanted him to stop teaching the non-Chinese. Just the blacks the Chinese didn't mean too much the whites. As Bruce was half white anyway. This little detail was what drew me to the martial artist as I spent many a wasted year going from gym to gym getting the bullshit rap about how hard and expensive and how I wouldn't want to do it, but then tell me how important and needed having a belt was. The book stated that hard work and true self-expression was the way to attain the way. Reading the Tao of Jeet Kon Do was what ended all that belt school bullshit for me. That's was Jackie Chan flying through the wall at the end, by the way. He wanted to do the stunt ,when Bruce asked who was up for it. I think Jackie was about 16 at the time, and was a huge Bruce Lee fan,and he still is.. And the Russian guy was Bob Baker. One of Bruce Lee's students. All the best from Bonnie Scotland.
The guy that Bruce Lee was fighting his name was Robert Baker. And the guy that went through I guess it's a window that was Jackie Chan. Jackie Chan is also a stuntman as well as a martial artist.
About biting the leg, you are right. Real fight, anything goes. Poking the eyes, perforating the ear drums, knife strike to the throat. When I see self defense videos on YT, the instructors never cover any of that. If you are getting choked out and you cant get free, hell, swivel your head and bite the guys arm.

Which is true, he also states "don't make plan on fighting thats a good way to lose your teeth" i.e those fake karate magazines "step 1, step 2" aren't realistic. You're not going to remember shit in a real fight situation at night when someones going to mug you and they pull a knife on you.
