Hi I own a 20 Camry hybrid I have a factory smart remote lost the other. I want to add a new remote, do I need the security code? I have a IM608 pro can I program a new remote?
Most of the new Toyotas yes you need the pin, because the programer doesn’t give you the option to back up. If the IM608 gives you the option to back up immo and generate key, yes you can do it but if it doesn’t, you will need the pin.
@@solosolo1255 because it didn’t give me the option to back it up by OBD, needed to remove the smart box and do the back up on bench. So thats why went straight to the pin code.
On the newer Rav4, it doesn’t give you the option to backup immo, i think 2018 below yes it does give you the option backup immo by obd, but 2019 and above you can’t backup immo by obd, just by removing the smart box yes,(eeprom), buying the 12 digit code its more convenient so yeah. Hey man, I need help! How do I do all keys lost on 2022 Camry without any smart keys? Car is immobilized and has no power. I have the IM608 pro but can't connect without ignition turned on. I pulled out the smartkey ecu to back up EEPROM but it has 14 pin whereas IM 608 tool has 8.
When you plug to the obd connector, does the blue light turns on, on the VCI? And still no communication? Did you try manually select the car? If you removed the smart box, you can backup IMMO with G-box as well. Manual selection. Select vehicle. Smart key. Control unit. Keyless system. Back up immo (select how do you want to back it up). And save. Last generate analog key. And done Hope that help, good luck

@@oslinsoriano5853 it doesn’t work like that, they will just deal with you and they have to proof if you are a legitimate business, they will ask for your business license and some more information.
hay dos options, dependiendo que programador esta usando, el Autel IM608 te da option para leer eeprom y guardarlo, y el otro es usando NASTF, esto es una subscription que te deja comprar los key codes para todo los carros del mercado y el 12 dijimos código de Toyota, así como en este video. y si solo compras el código, tienes que comprar en código en el mismo rato que estas haciendo eltrabajo, porque cada ves que conectas tu programador, la computadora te da diferente data para un nuevo código. espero que te sirva la información. ahi en la subscription de el video tengo links para el Autel IM608 si no tienes una, te lo recomiendo, muy buena.

I used apb112. Backup immo, load file to apb112 and add key on 2021 Rav4.

You can buy it from toyota using your NASTF account by submitting the data that autel is giving you when you go to add a key
