Svitch has pathetic after sales service. The motor on XE model is giving cranky sounds after riding for 300 kms in 3 months. It's almost month now with no fix. The motor was shipped to their head office and was sent back to me saying it's repaired, but it's the same condition. There is no proper response from their customer support. This investment is just going through drain. Stay away from this.
Also this isn't the first problem which I faced.
It's so unprofessional of SVITCH to do so, this is very expensive stuff, and one could have bought a proper motocycle at this price. I see you posted this a year ago, did they resolve your issue or your are still living with it.
At that price, one can buy a fully electric Okinawa Lite and still save Rs.20-25K

Svitch XE is a fun eBike, I thoroughly enjoyed the way it rode, only wish it was a little cheaper :)

Too pricey, better go for lectro hero, lectro hero price starts at 24k
Instructions were impossible to follow..had to use RUclips to assemble and how to ride... Hub motor gives assistance when needed to get through rough areas.
.... suggest atleast five in each affordable foldable & un-foldable e cycle for 25 km daily run .... i am 50 yrs, 5'8", 78 kgs ..... want to try out new option to go to office

Not Good for work Out purposes. Seat not comfortable, Tyres quality is not good and gear changing problems.
Better to buy hero electric cycle of 4 to 5thousand which is more worthy ,

My Hero F6i gives me 60km on full assist mode. And if it runs out I can still pedal and it costs ₹49,000. So yeahh
bro is price me i would expect shimano deore or alivio, hydraulic brakes, a better motor, better suspension system, better frame... this bike has got nothing.. this should be priced around 32-35k.
the company is just wasting their money in unnecessary advertisements.. i would not recommend this bike at all..

Hi dude must appreciate your decision to wear a helmet while riding as most youngsters esp kids will follow what you do while riding . Calling u dude cause there are many who are duds doing videos of cycles / ecycles without wearing a helmet. And yeah I fully agree this is a stupidly expensive ecycle and the accessories are overpriced.

Too expensive for Indian market
I was really looking forward this review MaddyKoko! You are usually comprehensive with your reviews but I feel you could have explored a little more with the bike. I'm an ecstatic XE+ user from Bangalore here. Please allow me to share my comments:
- It took me a few rides to understand how to maximise the range from this bike, or more specifically, its battery. I use pedal assist 5 only when I need it. That would be on smooth, flat, open roads so that I don't feel like I'm very slow compared to rest of the traffic. Otherwise, I'm mostly on PAL 1-3 for normal riding.
- Even in an ebike, using the gears properly is key to getting maximum efficiency. So I humbly disagree with your point about the struggle to climb inclines. Even a fatty like me can quite comfortably scale steep flyovers like the ones on Outer Ring Road by applying gears of 3-4 and PAL 1-2. Just for fun, I let one hand hang down and keep the other on the handle and sing as I pedal. People start gawking!
- One of the Cons of this bike is definitely that it invites toooooo much gawking!
- It's worth exploring the foldability of the bike since it's a primary feature. After a month of owning the bike, I still find it difficult to handle it folded. So I avoid it altogether except when I have to remove/install the battery.
- For the price range at which the XE(+) sells, I think Svitch should have bundled insurance with it. Or at least given us the option to purchasing insurance at the time of sale. Cycle insurance in India is mostly offered only for one year and usually has to be purchased within 3 days of invoicing.
- Lastly, I trawled your channel A LOT before deciding to go with the Svitch XE+. At the end of the day, there's nothing quite like it :)

Planning on getting the xe+ as well but not quite made up my mind.
Hows the bike serving you? Any complaints? Frequent tyre puncture is one I've read twice now for this ebike and the display conking off if exposed to rain. Have you faced such or other issues with this bike?
@@cybervj01 I've owned my XE+ for a little under 3 months and done about 600km on it on rough Bangalore terrain. No tyre puncture yet... but you now have me worried. A flat back tyre would be an extremely unpleasant situation as no puncherwala would be able to fix it due to the motor attached. Hmmm...
I haven't faced any rain issues yet. Maybe because it hasn't rained until today. Frankly, I have scant respect for the Bafang data as the readings are all wrong. So I only look at the display for pedal assist levels. All other readings are from my smart watch and/or Strava.
And just to make it clear... I'm absolutely loving the XE+. There's nothing else quite like it :)

Hi! This front led is available online for 349-599 with a horn and chargeable battery. As per it's price range this should have a better n bigger front light and proper rear light as well. Even indicators should have been provided.

Elektron m5x is better than svitch xe because elektron m5x is of 55000 and it is fat bike and range upto 50+km and you can unlock speed upto 40kmph
