Answer could be to sub Gundo out when we hit 50'-60' - He started the game very well but as soon as he got tired he started losing the ball and duels. We have to acknowledge he's way to old to play this much.
@@MattylovesCiteh It could work.. Imo it's just so impotant to have him a bit further up - maybe as an 8. His ball carrying is next level and really helped us last night. But imo no idead should be off the table. We still have to improve alot so it could be an idea. Just maybe not against Juve
Jury still out on Bernardo has been getting progressively worse for two seasons. Let's see how he goes rest of matches. But Gundo and Walker should be put out to pasture.
I loved our team yesterday. We still made stupid mistakes that could have lead to goals but I’m absolutely happy after that match. Grealish was a complete baller yesterday.

Super....Super Jack....Super Jackie Grealish! Haven't seen him smile like that in a while. Jack and Kevin with bernado and gundo....was working nice yesterday. Josko is morphing right before our eyes. Erling playing the false 9 playing Josko through. New roles, learning curves. End of this season will be 🔥
I've been asking for false 9 Haaland since last season, it took a crisis for Guardiola to remember Haaland's abilities are more than just tap-ins in front of goal.
Good start to this december month. The Liverpool game sucked, but that's over nothing we can do but to focus on ourselves. On to Palace where we'll need another great performance. Hoping to see Jack start in the midfield again
6 games to play in all of December. I have said previously when we was in the middle of the losing run. Judge us at the end of December, so much changes.
Let’s be honest Bernardo Siva played top class because he was put back in the right side and a certain individual has been stinking it up there for the past 10 games for us. Yes, Phil Foden has 0 goals, 2 shots on target in 10 games for us in PL this szn. He’s been super mid. No wonder why we lost all the games with no attacking prowess other than Haaland.
Can’t believe the amount of glazing Ortega gets. It’s like people are blind to his constant mistakes passing out from the back. He is often the direct cause of chances against us because he keeps passing the wrong player or pass them in an awkward position and lazy passes too
This is true. His distribution isn't even close to Ederson, but nobody in the world is. He does save shots alot better than Ederson though. I think the problem is Ederson's mind might be half out of the team already since his summer transfer saga with the Saudi league. Probably thinking about the money. Can't blame him. Already won everything possible with City.
if we can not lose for about 6-8 games were in with a shout. May need two excellent signings in January. (RB and CDM Ideally). Personally i feel Gundo/kova/Grealish as 8 is decent as long as we get an actual CDM as our 6 and then If we get a solid RB and let Rico play as a squad player again we are fine everywhere else! The summer will need some brave decisions on outgoings though!
The Lewis hate baffles me, the lad is barely 20 and everyone acting like he’s already washed. He needs time and he definitely needs minutes. Walker is definitely way past his prime tho.
@@SebastianDalhedFootball is all about opinions and I don’t think Rico needs minutes, I think he needs a rest. I think the hate is because he’s a bit lightweight, which is unfair. City do lack physicality in midfield. Agree 100% about Walker
Fancy the prospect of beating all of Arsenal, Lpool & Chelsea in the reverse fixture, therby throwing the race wide open and instilling panic in the 3 contenders.
Whilst Grealish did commendably well in midfield for starters, l wld urge him to avoid falling as much as possible for a (holding) midfielder. Should watch videos of Rodri moves.
I love the fact all city fans reactors and social media influencers are saying city are back to winning ways and not acting like united fans saying WE ARE BACK😂
Grealish was great in the midfield, i've said it in comments on past videos a lot of his strengths are very midfield oriented. I've been a vocal critic of Doku but he got his goal contributions in yesterday so I was very pleased with his performance. Honestly I think the time off from his injury might have been the best thing to happen to him because I have no doubt the coaches were hammering in tactics and being unable to physically train during injury may have had him focusing very hard on that. I still think he has a lot of developing to do and you can tell that some of the plays I want to see him make are a bit unnatural to him, you can see him almost start to do something silly and then stop himself and make a better play. That's a very positive sign but full development will include getting him to a point where the plays are second nature to him. Ederson is a beast, but Ortega has always been an extremely strong shot stopper, so in a situation where our CDM dominance is somewhat compromised due to injuries I think it makes a lot of sense to have Ortega in the net with the amount of defensive lapses and counter attack pressure the team has been faced with. I still think Ederson is an absolute beast and he is a good shot stopper in his own right, but in the current situation I think the shot stopping edge that Ortega has probably makes more sense given the teams drop off in control of the game in Rodri and Kovacic's absence
As a Liverpool Fan I wouldn't rule you out .The same way I can't rule out Arsenal and Chelsea . This season might be the survival of the fittest. I also truly believe we are the best team and we should get better and better .

This is what I've been saying. We've been slaughtered by injuries this year. Imagine Liverpool without VVD and Salah. Same thing would happen to them. We also have the pending court case so doesn't make sense to spend money to reload the squad.

yes KDB had an amazing match, but he is 34.. soon 35. cannot relay on him for the future, and he is injury prone now last year and this year he missed a lot.... Same for Bernardo his legs are old. Walker also.
The "slump" was nothing to worry about as I've said all the way through. We had a short bad run because the core had been ripped out of the team, NOT because anything was wrong, because players were past it, because Pep had taken us as far as he could and had run out of ideas, or any of that nonsense - and sadly a lot of those comments came from so-called City fans. Grealish brings stability in the midfield, he should've played there against Liverpool.
I have been sayin tht for years.thts how u get the best out of a player like dis
KDB, Dias, Jack's, Silva and all City players had an excellence performance
Can't relay on a KDB anymore... you cannot be a 1 man team he is 34.... City needs to move on next season and find a long term project replacement.
Don't forget Ortega.
I also love Haaland’s contributions , greatly appreciate it!
Haaland did an excellent pass for doku which led to the goal.
Grealish gives us something others don't. Pure ball possession. Its hard to take the ball off him without fouling him
Exactly
Haaland could’ve had 2 assists but I’m sick of city not using haaland’s pace. If he got 3 long passes a game, chances are he’ll score one
True
Just the kind of win needed. Let's now see a run like in 20/21 season
For a non-Haalandesque performance, he actually impressed me soooo much
Hello from USA …. Go city 💪🏼💪🏼
That midfield is still shaky out of possession we need a proper 6
Let's focus on December matches then we will see who comes in during January transfer window.
Absolutely agree. I have counted 5 ball losses (and dangerous ones) in our own half. Gundogan is ready to retire.
Answer could be to sub Gundo out when we hit 50'-60' - He started the game very well but as soon as he got tired he started losing the ball and duels. We have to acknowledge he's way to old to play this much.

Agree about Bernardo. This was his best version we have not seen for quite some time. Ball wins, interception, movements...
De bruyne and doku brought some new life to the team

I’ve been always proud of City’s success!
Grealish could hold down the fort in the midfield even if KDB is injured. Jack does everything in the midfield, Foden is supposed to do.
We did not miss Foden. KDB was the orchestrator magician. Silva, Doku, Grealish & Haaland supporting him.
I'd like to see grealish more and more in that position he's top
So happy to see grealish smile while he played 🎉he did such a job
Difference is no Rodri but that January signing could take us there. KDB & Doku need to start
Grealish played well in midfield … Gvardial looks great going forward and KDB is still King
Grelish in midfield. I love it.
Grealish, Doku and KDB were absolutely fucking brilliant.
We could have easily conceded 2. Thanks to Ortega's save and Wood's miss.

Haaland not getting enough passes in the 18 box. A worry. Foden to come on as a sub to KDB going forward.

When de Bruyne went off city player said you ok to him and he said “I’m tired” 😂 only him can do that

Liverpool don’t just have to lose 3 games, they will more than likely have more draws like last night. We have to play them at home to.
I understand why Gvardiol is being criticised but keep in mind that he's most likely physically and mentally tired from all these starts

We are still loosing balls in dangerous situations. Mid-field, especially its defensive aspect, is barely functional.

Gundobwas the culprit has been the culprit all season
We finally had a clean sheet. I couldn't be more happier 😊
City. Let's keep this form going till we get a full squad in January.
Signings are needed
The "Without KDB" photo caught me off-guard, priceless😂
