Good morning 🌞 Muskrat, that looks like a great deal of fun. My dad lives in baker city and used to work for commercial tire there. He was always trying out different mud and snow tires for his truck. We did a lot of hill and rock climbing with his old 4x4 truck, he had an old 70’s style F-250. That was a climbing beast. Have a wonderful day and watch your topknots my friends 👍💪🙌🙏🌈✌️🐽🐷🐖
That's great MUSKRAT ,yall figured it out.....How to be a kid again......such great joy .Thanks for bringin us along GODBLESS & MERRY CHRISTMAS to all you boys...😊
The adventure looks fun. However, I still think a horse is the best "Crawler-climber" to get up rocks. Ha! Great video! Thanks for sharing, have a nice day.
That looks like great fun ! It would be nice knowing that you have friends with those kinds of rigs to come and help you if you are stuck up on the mountain !
Good morning MO 'n all, that was fun as long as I can watch from my desk here ha ha! I gotta feeling you enjoy the fun AND the risk. At 3:00 the tire-kicking begins, LOL. Thanks for a spry morning coffee, a great visit and I certainly look forward to Part 2. Merry Christmas to you and Miss Cindy - again. Be safe and blessed. And the same for everyone watching today. Two more sleeps!!!
Good morning!that thing thing is very cool. Would be even cooler if it had the willy's body on it though.a guys gotta have fun sometimes.thanks for the ride along.have a good one!
Good morning muskrat man o man them roads are narrow an high up wow look at that hill or should I say the side of a mountain you got some big Qantas my friend. A bit scary 😱 lol ❤🤠🇺🇸🇨🇦✌️🙏👍🍁
BTW, I 'member an article, years back in Peterson's 4 Wheel & Off Road mag bout fellas over in Greenland that was runnin modified Broncos, 4 Runners, Blazers and such with grossly oversize tires aired way down, so's they could stay on top of most any snow they encountered. They was runnin on glaciers, and their biggest problem was hittin' hidden crevasses, then tryin to get across with the bridging gear they had with 'em. Mighty interestin' read. Tire diameter alone bridged em across and over a lot of obstacles, but they had to have the gearing to do it. Surprisingly, they were all runnin' fairly small engines, 4 bangers, V6, straight 6 and small displacement V8s.
Sorry, could never stand wrenching, although I had to do a little bit of it, and doing something that would make me have to do more of it wasn't my thing.
Big boys toys! Like my 4 brothers, you will never grow up!😂 “Steeper than it looks “? Looked pretty steep to me! But I have to admit, the view is amazing!
Transfer case doubler's been round for awhile. IIRC, the 'Yota prolly the easiest an most popular, hell fer stoout, common as dirt, but when the tire sizes git to a certain point, fellas go to 1 ton axles, hydraulic steering, selectable air lockers front an rear, air suspension. And and up trailerin' em to the trailhead, and home. Lots of fellas runnin' them rigs through the lava beds, 'specially Hell's Half Acre, which is actually a few thousand acres of BLM land down by Blackfoot, Shelley, on up past Idaho Falls. Goin solo is crazy. Invite to a long walk home. Tons o fun! I always loved goin up, but goin down, then havin ta get out at the bottom an wrassle my skivvies outta my crack never was much fun! Kinda like a boat or an airplane. A hole in the water that ya throw money into.... Take er easy! Merry Blessed Christmas!

Hey Gary, do you know what motor they run in that 4 runner? Sounds like a V8 on the video.
I was wondering same thing. It is a V8....LS? HED is doing a 2WD right now.
Interesting....
Boys and their toys, so much fun. Happiest Holidays to you all :)
Now that's fun !!!
If'en ya own a rock crawler ya better enjoy wrenching alot. Seems like something is always wearing out or getting broke on those vehicles Mr. Muskrat.
Looks like a great time.Have some FUN!
Looks like fun but I don't see the point. I guess I'm too old. Thanks Gary.
