I have the GT 1, and dialed in a great slap-back. Never knew anything about using a delay set to particular BPM. Not sure that would be necessary.
If it is a slap back, or a delay simulating a microphone 10 feet away, I would think that would work for any tempo?

      Hi there.
You can easily dial in a slap-back delay, without setting the tempo to a specific BPM, but for specific songs it can be a great help, to really nail the exact delay tone.
For example, if you want to nail the delay tone of U2's The Edge, then you need the Dotted 8th Note Delay. Sure, you can set this up using the ms parameter, but using the sub-divisions will get you there faster. That's the great thing about the BPM and the sub-divisions. Having matched the BPM to the patch, so it also matches the specific song, you're all set!
      I hope this makes sense.
      Cheers.
