What happens when the OC leaves wich he is going to for a head coach job. He doesn’t need to visit Michigan he already has like 4 times nothing new there. But his family has been there for 3 weeks straight in the middle of the season. Michigan is offering more than double LSU is so that would in fact be the “god father package” as you said. McCarthy was selected by the Minnesota Vikings tenth overall in the 2024 NFL draft. He was the fifth of six quarterbacks taken in the first round, tied with the 1983 draft for the most in NFL history.
McCarthy was named the backup to Sam Darnold (OMG This sucks) to open training camp.[63] Following the preseason opener against the Las Vegas Raiders, in which he threw two touchdowns, he reported soreness in practice and was found to have fully torn his meniscus in his right knee.[64][65][66] McCarthy underwent surgery to repair it and was placed on injured reserve, becoming the first quarterback selected in the first round to miss his entire rookie season due to injury
LSU Daniels was selected second overall by the Washington Commanders in the 2024 NFL draft.[42] He was the second of six quarterbacks (QB) taken in the first round, tying the 1983 draft for the most in NFL history. Daniels was named Offensive Rookie of the Month for September after completing the highest percentage of passes (82.1) over a four game span in NFL history, with more scoring drives led (23) than incomplete passes thrown (19).[ He was the first rookie to have 1,000 passing yards and 250 rushing yards through his first five games.
By the midway point of the season, Daniels was considered among the favorites to win the NFL MVP award.
