As you may already know, that's not the way to use a Reaction card, more specfically the Ambush card. The Allies play the Reaction card INSTEAD of rolling for intel, you don't play it after you've seen the die roll for the battle...and as another poster said, since you played Ambush, the Allies roll first before the Japanese
Don't forget the stacking limit for ground/air units. I believe its 3 total of both classes, so Rangoon would be overstacked.

Also, for ambush, the ambushing player hits first. The player that gets ambushed only calculates their hits after they suffer damage.
