Very beautiful. But is it me or video starts smoothly and then becomes more and more jittery? Is it skipping frames because of thermal throttling? Your other 1V videos are smooth though 👍
Maybe some 1 or 2 frames are skipped. I just added link to orginal two files in description, you can download and check it. One file of "under the sun" has big visible compression, and I added it too.
@@lucasn82_ thanx! For me the stuttering is really visible only on this video (especially when the left horse moves it's legs). Is it the same as you mentioned on 5V?
@@fractalawareness Sometimes a frame will drop, but let's remember that it's 4K at 120fps with HDR (HLG) - in some HDR shots the brightness reaches > 2200cd/m2. Additionally, I recorded most of the videos at 30 degrees (like Under the sun), and the 1V housing was black.
@@lucasn82_ thanx for the source file! This what ffprobe says about it: recorded fps was 120, requested replay fps is 29.97, but the actual average fps is 27.06, usually each frame has duration of around 0.033378, but there are spikes of frames with duration of around 0.166833 (wow) which start appearing after some time, that explains stutter. I think it would be better if Sony lowered bitrate instead of frame skipping during throttling. Now I know that I should get a white color of device and add a little cocktail umbrella on top so the sun doesn't heat it so much 🙂

@@fractalawareness No problem ;) Sony should give in Pro app bitrate selector - 150/100/50mbps.
