This is how I earn compensation for all the hard work I do. The information provided in this video is based on my own personal experience
I don't know you, nor you me, but I noticed from one of your other videos that you've recently returned to RUclips from illness. I just wanted to say if it's any consolation, that your work and the way you do your demonstrations are incredibly inspiring to me. I have suffered with chronic illness since 35 and I'm now 57yrs old and the one thing that's kept me sane is art. So when looking for new crafts to do, I am so thankful for people like you who take the time to show people like me how to get started. I wish you luck on your road to recovery and hopefully knowing there's a complete stranger living all the way over here in the UK whose day you just improved just because you took the time to share, will bring you some pleasure.
This is the very best tutorial ive seen yet and Ive done a workshop, but this is exactly what I want to achieve. i cant wait to give it a go. Thank you Freda from Australia
what a beautiful way to create flowers with a straw, result to create with overlay effect and translucent petals, very nice effect, I am a beginner and enjoy your demonstration
Thank you so much, Gabrielle. I've watched several different artist videos of alcohol ink art and found yours one of the best. Very well done, easy to watch and listen to, and informative. I love what you have created and will keep trying. So far I have not had much luck but I know practice, practice, practice!
Your videos were my introduction to mixed media art. I have watched all of them, some - several times. You are the reason why today my table is covered in gesso, paints and leftower peaces of paper! For that I am very thankful, and I am truly happy to see you back here!
I never thought I could do this. Thank you.💐
How truly magical it is to see how you create these stunning pieces of art! I am in awe of you and cannot wait to try to create something with my own alcohol inks. You are very talented and so inspiring! Many thanks - stay well:-)
Gorgeous! I'm sure it's not anywhere as easy as you make it look, but I'm gonna' try it!
Stunning!! I've been a fan of yours for a few years now and I love your work. You even inspired me to have a go at mixed media when I watched your videos with the beautiful couture figure and the "always danced" canvas. I made them for my best friends birthday and she loved them. They've been hanging in her room for 5 years now, she even boasts to her niece that they are exclusive "art works" HA HA. Anyway I just wanted to let you know that your work inspires so many people and I for one am very thankful to you.
Aw, Thanks so much Debbie! This means a lot to me, I appreciate your kind words!💞
fantastic! this is a pure magic! cannot want to try on my own!!! thank you Gabrielle!!!
I had never seen this type of art before but after seeing the magic you do, it's now one of my favorites ❤️
I am so glad you are feeling well enough to be back creating and sharing with us! I really LOVE the alcohol ink creations you've made! I sure hope you do some more of those too. Thank you 😍
Wonderful tutorial! Just right amount of instructions and music. Excited to try, you make it look easy and your insights are so helpful!
Hi Gabrielle, I absolutely love your creative style. Thank you for sharing. I’m going to have a try!
OMG.. I absolutely love this. I am going to have to try it. You are an inspiration.
I went back to watch the video from February and saw that you had posted a new one. This is lovely and I plan on trying it soon. Love, love, love it!! I hope mine looks half as good as yours. I have been playing around with the 5 x7 sheets of Yupo - so afraid to 'mess up' any of the large sheets, but I'm just going to go for it. You mentioned showing how to mount and do a poured finish. I will watch for that video too.
Just to let you know, you really inspired me. I watched a lot of your videos when I was recovering from shoulder replacement surgery and subsequent infection. I even have a collection of Dusty Attic chip board I still have plans for. In fact, I did two project mixed media presents during my recovery when my dominant arm was pretty much dead weight. My mom proudly displays hers, and my friend hung her canvas in her cubbie at work. Thanks for your continued inspiration. I have a whole section on Pinterest I saved so I can go back to it for inspiration, especially now that I am retired.
Ooh Gabrielle I m so happy to see you recovered and back to show the world how to create. Because it all started with you!
You are the best of all techniques and whatever everyone is doing it is inspired by you!

So pretty!!!!
Love using alcohol Inks! Thanks for showing us your beautiful flowers made from them! You are so very talented, I don’t know that I can make the same thing, but I will certainly try!
❤️ all of your work!!!
Thank you Charlotte! You can do this...be sure to try it on the yupo paper, it's slick so it makes a difference in the movement of the alcohol ink. And the good news is if you dont like where its going, you can wipe off and start again 💞
Thanks for the encouragement Gabrielle! 💜
Beautiful Gabrielle ! You make it look so easy because you are so talented - I tried recreating you previous AI one but I was not very successful but will try again with this one. So glad you are well and creating again, it was watching your mixed media videos that got me hooked on art !
Did you do it on yupo paper? Thats important to get that whispy flowing look...
Yes I did thanks - I think that I just did not follow your method closely enough - I’ll watch a few more times
Very nice, I will try this. thanks
Gorgeous
So beautiful, thank you so much. Was wondering how to make a flower with the alcohol inks. Awesome, you are a gem!!! Hope you have a blessed day ❣
You are absolutely my Favorite artist on YT...
I love your work. I've tried the blow dryer method and liked it but I used a special'paper' called dura-lar. The ink slid around on it nicely and since it's translucent I was able to layer it on some sheet music and it looks very ethereal. Thanks for your inspiration.
That sounds amazing...love that whispy etheral effect.. I'll check into that paper!💞
I am going to try this one, I did the last one and it turned out pretty good but this one is amazing. Thank you for always sharing!!!
Beautiful
