Just incase you're using cable in crowded area there's supposedly a coated cable, which prevent player/entity to take damage
Only works with LV and MV cables, plus the outputted rf is slightly less

Honestly I would argue with getting rid of the immersive engineering power supply, considering you have the create mod that allows you to create fixed magnet generators. Plus if your making Steam engines they can produce insane amounts of stress units which in turn can power more of the create electricity generating multiblock. Not to mention the fact that if done properly can produce multitudes more than the diesel generator. If anything I wouldn't completely get rid of the diesel production, I would still use it but build it to have a redstone control system for emergency power.
Interesting points. I'm definitely looking into the magnet generators cause I've been passively collecting them as I mine. I hope they use the same energy system as immersive engineering, cause then I wouldn't even need the diesel generator.
@@doublesal I think the mod has stronger magnets besides the magnetite you have mind. Basically from my understanding the Magnetite is suppose to be Tier 1 material as there is also tiers 2 and 3. Also RF is sorta becoming more and more the universal. Even Mekanism uses RF and their connectors tend to be universal, I believe IE's connectors are cables are "also" universal. The reason I would keep the diesel generator is as a back up. Even with Tier 3 magnets, IF the mod uses some modicum of real physics, Unless there is a load (I.E your lights) The generator should "Free spin" as there is nothing requiring power. So the more power demand you put on the generators exponential would increase the Stress Units used. But that's also using real life mechanical engineering. I still haven't gotten one of these generators built either so I am speculating at this point.
My last point is keep the Diesel Generator if the create one uses all the stress units of the max steam engines. That way you have some method of continuing with some faster production compared to the slow production from wind/water power. While ramping up the power supply. One other mod that might be of use to add is pretty pipes since it can "act" as a modular ME system and it used brass pipes in Create A&B.
theres insulated cables to avoid shocking yourself also theres an improved blast furnace and coke oven
Another block you could use for that nice blue-green color is oxidized copper
you can mabey make a greenhouse becuase if the mod that adds seasons has this feature you can make potatoes grow year round

Well, as a little hint for working on the electric wires:
Before you work on them, make sure there is no power on them. XD Meaning: If you build a new connection, wait till you connect it to the live wires till you finished it.
Besides that, that power plant is totally insane!
do you have the extended bogeys mod installed? It gives you a much larger selection of different train wheels to choose from, including a 3-axle steam piston variant.
I dont think it's installed but I'm gonna check.
I assume your modpack doesn't have Immersive Petroleum or Create: The Factory Must Grow? Because with those, you can get crude oil and refine it into multiple types of fuels

fun fact: it's possible to create a power plant with just the Create Mod. You just apply rotational energy to a Deployer and use that Deployer to activate a Redstone Link. If you set up a chain of Redstone Links as towers then you can transfer almost-wireless redstone signals to builds.
Neat i never could get a steady supply of bio fuel for the gen to run some what consistantly
Should try out the create addons 1 has a whole nuclear power production thing going and is quite scalable with its multiblock generator . Mod also adds FE power engine that have desent SU and easy scaleing speed

Here's a Design Idea for the Power plant at a Later date, Most Power Plants would Actually have Something like a Switchboard but more along the Lines of a Giant Circuit Breaker. These would allow for the Power to be Shut Off in an Area to allow for Things like Maintenance or Repairing Cables. Since the Immersive Engineering Stuff is Redstone Compatible, you can do something like that with Levers and Various Other Blocks to Ensure that you can Control your Newly Created Power Grid.
Something for your Airport, Sometimes you'll see some Lights at each end of the Runway, usually in a Blue Color almost like Soul Fire Lanterns. These are the Glide Slope Indicators and these conform to the Natural Terrain that the Runway was Built on as it follows the Contours of the Earth. Just follow these Steps and you'll be Ready for some Flights when you get to Build some Curtis P-40E Warhawk Fighter-Bombers and Douglas A-20G Havoc Medium Bombers to Fight the Pillagers.
• 1). Make sure you've got at least 4 Blocks of Space from the Ends of the Runway so you don't end up Clipping your Landing Gear on these Glide Slope Indicators on your way down.
• 2). Once you've got the Appropriate Space, Place down 3 Nether Brick Fence Posts with 1 Block Space between them, Centered with the Runway.
• 3). Bring the Nether Brick Fences back (Away from the Runway) 2 Blocks and then Connect the Row Farthest from the Runway.
• 4). Build up the 4 Posts between and on either side of the First 3 Posts you placed to 2 Blocks Tall.
• 5). Finally, Place a Lantern or Soul Fire Lantern on each of the Posts, 3 in the Front with 4 at the Back, leaving the Center 3 Empty.
With that, you should have a Simple Glide Slope Indicator at each end of the Runway. These builds should take up a 7 by 3 by 3 Blocks Space and be at least 4 Blocks away from the Ends of the Runway to avoid any Possible Mishaps that could Damage the Planes or cause a Very Nasty Wheels-up Landing.

İf dont want to get zapped where there is a mess of cable in your factory you can use a non-zapper cable (me forgor the name of the item).
Tho it will transfer less than original but it does have an upgraded version of itself like the other cabels.
I did see those though I don't think they have them for the HV coil. Thanks for the info :)
@@doublesalI’ve found that HV is great for transporting the power, and then using the coated MV to match the power drain from the machines. Also helps to have localised power storage using battery stacks cause they can just push power to the bottom and slowly fill up like a tank

Are there green houses and insulated wire? If there is a temperature tracking mod I don't see why you can't make a building and artificially heat/cool it to make it whatever season you want inside.

How do i use ammo bags from scorched guns mod?
I tried using them, not sure if I used them properly. They just store ammo but they're a one time use and they can only hold a stack. I'd just avoid them.

Optifine isn't compatible with this modpack. I'f you're looking to add shaders, they already come built into the modpack. You just need to enable them in video settings.
