Due to issues the video also includes removal of the battery using 16mm socket wrench.
The fan assembly is obsolete and cannot be supplied by Ford but is available elsewhere, for your information only the original part number is 1467010.
The cooling system, which includes the radiator fan failed to operate even after the replacement of the complete thermostat housing with temperature sensor to eliminate all leaks, temperature sensing or circulation issues, the fan should have worked after 15-20 minutes running of the engine, but it didn't. It now looks like the fan motor has gone faulty (checked first that F21 cooling fan fuse is fine), so it did require replacement. The removal will be covered in this video and installation of the new fan assembly in another video. If you wanted to test the fan beforehand you can get access to the plug from under the car by jacking up the car and checking the voltage or testing the fan with a 12 volt (battery charger) power supply. As this would have involved jacking up the car it was discounted as most likely the fan would be at fault due to the age of the car, continuously working in a hot and wet environment and the water mixed with antifreeze (corrosive) that leaked from the thermostat housing hitting the fan.
The purchased fan has the wrong socket as it is designed for a car with air conditioning, which was only realised when the old fan was removed and compared. The original fan has 4 blades with a 70 Watt (power) DC motor while the new fan was 330 Watt DC motor and 6 blades! Therefore the new fan has been returned to the supplier for credit and another fan for cars without air conditioning has been ordered. Awaited delivery of the correct replacement before checking with a trained mechanic before completeing the repair. For radiator Fan Assembly Replacement Part 2 click on link below.

Should you suspect you have a thermostat problem (overheating due to no circulation through the radiator) or housing leak causing overheating then you should fix this first, please refer to the other video (Replacement of thermostat housing) see link below.
