@RaVerKidX6 The shock and awe of first seeing a Data Drain being aimed directly at you would put most people in that situation of 'not being able to move.'

witch ones? the pre G.U ones? imo the .hack//I.M.O.Q? in the game disk theres a strange model 2, actually a model called "a$%a" but I can't actually come to open it...crashes 3Ds Max....
Some were good and some dwfinitely looked a little basic compared to the more detailed stuff they finalized. Ovan I think looked better, the extra cloth made him look more refined and intellectual? Haseo with the cloak I think would have worked better for cutscenes with a cool silhouette and making him seem more hidde. but in gameplay maybe the cloth physics didn't work. Having the original designs for the Phases I think would have been good to see, like before they bond and transform to the final look they took on like connecting with a player changed them
Haseo does go that form once In rebirth when he fights kuhn he goes out of controlle I'm just guessing but i believe if he was not in avitar mode he would have did that. just a posable outcome
no it doesn't. it looks cooler. the form they settled on had him look like a bad guy. (or a demon) besides, he looks more like an adept rogue here and he's faster too.
if your going through the perspective that it is "Just a game" then would you think something as serious as being in a coma could happen? It would just be an aw damn i lost moment to anyone normal. Sure Haseo knew that tri-edge wasn't a normal character and maybe the realization that he wasn't standing a chance against tri-edge had him all shocked. Also it looked like one of those moments that time just kinda froze. i'm not saying this to get under anyones skin i'm just saiyan.
I take it you havn't watched //roots? You DO realize what happens to him. I like the more "demonic" look becuase in the show he is full of hatred. And Haseo is known for his Fury. So it goes good together. And if you think that form is demonic, Look at it in //TRILOGY. I like Empty Skies better in this though. (Kites weapons)

All these years later, this game still sticks with me...
If they ever made an MMORPG like "The World", maybe they could model it after the prototype version. Great job on the video.
been 14+ years and even tho FFxiv is similar, i'd love The World itself to be real :(
i liked how this looked alot more than the original actualy. Mainly just the fight in the desert.

Wow,the prototype for the 8 Epitaph Users was much better than the original execpt for Haseo's prototype.

Probably would have like G.U. alot better if it had stuck to it's root to the R1 version.
@Milanoir i totally disagree the only thing i like of the orignal was few of the characters G.U. looks tons better then the prototype
Haseo's prototype costume is pretty much infinitely better than the one he starts with in the final version
