Watching your channel for the first time, blown away by the vastness of the ocean, trying to figure out where that place could be. Then, out of nowhere, you opened the locator, and I spotted the name of my city on the map. With the Atlantic being so huge, I never would’ve guessed you were that close at that moment. It is a jeanneau sun legende 41. Heavily modified for long term cruising. Yes i have different alarms set if a Boat comes within range. Hey could you snap a cellphone shot of your camera / tripod / gear when in process of recording? Post to zippyimage or something and link so we can see? One of the things that's quite pleasant about your work is the image quality. Gear know-how and technique for such small spaces is underappreciated. Safe travels.
Actually it is just my iPhone 12 Pro Max handheld or just squeezed in a corner somewhere 😅 quality of phone cameras has gotten so good these days. Only other cameras used in some other videos for the 360 shots is the insta 360 one r. That’s it.
@@Boatlifeisbest Really, wow. Using wide angle settings? Also, editing software of choice? And are you doing color correction / enhancement? The clarity on shots of waves is impressive.
Just using the different lenses the iPhone has. And mostly the selfie camera. The iPhone does a lot of post processing by itself for image quality and the internal stabilisation is great as well. I even have it set to just 1080p 30fps not even 4K 😅. I edit the videos in davinci pro but just simple cutting. No color correction or other enhancements there.
