I saw Dave at a bar in Toronto the other week. He did an acoustic set and there was another band playing after. When they finished, Dave came- seemingly from nowhere - to say good job and that kind of thing. I was stood by the bar having a beer and when I realized it was him i just managed to muster up a "yo". As he said good job and shook the hand of the singer in the band he heard me and turned and said "Yeah, you too. Good job, man" I hadn't played that night but that's the story of how I sort of almost met Dave Monks.

Saw these guys on Canada day. Amazing band. Just 4 guys having the time of their life
This is one of my favourite songs of the year. I love the way the guitar 'sings' the vocal melody of the wordless third verse.
Underrated af! Love this performance!
