+RAJESH BEHERA I believe the max length is not given.....take an assumption say 1000 mts........then divisions in 3 steps i.e 10-10-10...... We have selected 1000 because it is more than the length 653 that is to be shown after the scale is prepared.....

Construct a plane scale of RF 1:40 to show meters and decimeters and long enough to
measure upto 5 m. Mark on the scale a distance representing 4.3 m.
