IMPORTANT if you are missing PyAutoGUI:
1. Open command line.
2. For Windows type: pip install PyAutoGUI
For Mac type: pip3 install PyAutoGUI
3. Execute

Can't do it because we don't own the PC further we can't install anything on a company PC. Some of us are working on laptops and PCs that the office gave us. And that's the problem here LOL but thank you for these tips because if it works for other people I think that's great. You can't even go upstairs to go to the bathroom here where I work in my cellar

you should be able to download python from microsoft store with limited permissions.
Pity we don't use Teams. Good job though! Love the background!

I put my self on away alwayss so they cannot distinguish between me being away and available.

What if i can t install python on my work laptop because i don t have permission to install things on it. Any ways to get around it ?

I m using mac m1 and tried to run this code. Code is running but somehow it is not able to access the teams. Means nothing is getting printed on teams chat. Am I missing something?

@@manindersingh6371 Then your problem is probably permission, you need to give access to the terminal. Try giving access like this (for Big Sir System Env):
setting -> security & privacy -> Accessibility -> Terminal 'check'

I got notepad++ and I was wondering if I need to saved it as à .py file extension. How to stop the "bot" ???
Yes, if you are using notepad you need to make the file .py. In order to stop it go to the cmd that you ran the script in and press Ctrl + C. This will kill the execution of the script.

I'm able to download .tz file from the source but I can't install it right now. Once it's done, i'll be in busness. any tip on how to solve my current problem ??? thanks again

@@Manche-De-Pelle Why are you downloading it as zip file? Install Python and pip first and then install pyautogui with the command. Check the pinned comment I have left the command there
@@HitraNtheProgrammer because it use a block port ... if it wasn't for that port I didn't had the issue to by pass that step by another one. You should see what they have blocked and sometimes it make me unable to work ... but they don't care ... maybe it's because I can't have the admin rights... it's something they have blocked with user and password
Hi, thanks for sharing. And after you finish writing in visual what do you do? And you download python and do nothing?
After you are finished you click the run/play button top right (the line of buttons under the quit button). Then you just click on the chat in teams and it will start writing "q" and keep you online.
When you want to stop the script. You can go to Visual Code click on the console and click :ctrl-Z or ctrl-D. (you can just quit VS code as well)

This should work for Mac as well. Install python and VS code, but you are probably missing PyAutoGui. So just install it in the following way:
1. Open command line.
2. For Windows type: pip install PyAutoGUI
For Mac type: pip3 install PyAutoGUI
3. Execute

There must be a way in Teams to set it so the status stays green all the time without doing these things.
If you find it, you can share. This is the thing that I found and works
(Until this monday) I was able to keep Teams on green in the following way:
1) work with 2 screens
2) on screen 1 you open RUclips and search for a 10h video (in my case dance music) and on screen 2 you open Teams
3) make sure the RUclips screen is the primary screen by simply clicking in the video once.
4) that's it! The laptop will not go in sleepmode as long as it's playing the music and Teams remains on green forever
You can also do something similar with a mobile device:
1) download Teams to your mobile device
2) make sure in Configurations that your mobile never goes to sleepmode
3) open Teams and make sure your device is on the charger
4) that's it! You're mobile is on green so your laptop/desktop is also on green. Forever!
Note: as of Monday the first trick does not work at where I work. I suspect that IT has changed some settings. I'm also 99,999% sure that my company has decided to start tracking productivity with the Teams application. Yes, it's very easy to collect data and make reports based on your productivity on Teams. I had a colleague that were on green for 24h a day but now all of sudden I see him on yellow a lot more often. That's how I know that he was using the same trick and also that IT has changed the settings.
Check if this works for you. It did for me for 6+ months. Good luck!

If your teams shows available on your laptop then you my friend are available… the mouse moving is as if your working away moving your mouse….call tech support you have an issue lol
