I appreciate how Stephen A., rather than being combative and dismissive like on first take, he is doing his thing in a way that simply demonstrated how others can/should do it. Was very respectful of this being Pat's show

I think some of his over the top and combative personality on first take is an act that he puts on for that show. When you see him on interviews like this one he can be very down to earth. I think his guests on first take know the drill for the most part and go along with it

I am not normally a Stephen A fan, mainly I just can't stand first take (it's too early in the morning to listen to people yelling). But he comes off far more likeable whenever he's on PMS.

I'm old. Original Monday night football with Howard Cosell old. Put Stephen A in the booth on Monday night football! Ratings gold! Keep the jock and the play by play guy but add a sports journalist ! Gold!

I’m not a fan of Stephen a smith and I hate when he talks about boxing and mma but he’s phenomenal when it comes to basketball. I will give him respect where it’s due and the man is at the top of the entire media game when it comes to basketball…

Great interview. Love that he gave some props to Skip. He’s always been respectful of Skip. Dude really hasn’t forgotten where he came from even though he’s a mega talent. Kudos.
    Also, Go Cowboys. 😉

Straight shooter, come on Pat let's not tell them what they want to hear let's count to keep it real. This show is great I hope you can keep shooting it straight. Don't give in to these individuals you're a much better person and that's not allegedly.
