The "Evo" in the 2005 Most wanted was actually a front wheel drive, not all wheel drive. It doesn't allow you to do a rear wheel burn out but a front wheel burn out with handbrake on.
I am surprised how no one talks about how carbon fixed the speed relativity, like when he was going 178kmh on most wanted, t looked like he was going actually 178MPH but when he went 178kmh on carbon it actually looked like 178kmh. You forgot NFS World that featured 3 different Lancers: Evolution VIII, Evolution IX and Evolution X. I know, official servers of NFS World are dead, but fan made servers based on SoapBox Race World are still up.

Except as a friend of mine once said that too realistic games "spoil, they are very boring" and it is true because in graphics it is great only that snoring of cars are too realistic and spoil. The PS2 originals were (and are even better) than they were.
@Shadow Knight and the fact that they haven't made a better one is really telling of the expectations of them taking over Ghost for nfs 2021. I said it could've been better because it was needing a bit more customisation for the cars. Imagine Rivals Customisation (minus performance mods) for Hot pursuit. That would give just that little bit it needs to rival a black box game like undercover, because it already has everything else. Hell even the remaster is a sign that it just needs a few touches for me to call it one of the best nfs games. However a black box game will always be my #1 due to me growing up with them, that being Most Wanted 2005 and that's followed by Carbon and Prostreet. I know, I know; I'm old. Even though I'm only 20 this year.

I'm very late but by pulling the handbrake you're locking the rear wheels, so that's why only the front wheels spun. All Evos are AWD.
