I love Mac & cheese with peas, I also sometimes include hot dogs or bbq Vienna sausages, I'm a big kid, lol. Ohh hilarious with the kid that eats anything, lol. I've used that method of block scheduling on my calendar when I was super busy, it worked for me as long as the scheduling was not too tight because well, life always happens. So I started scheduling in 1 hour block every day in late afternoon, labeled Flex. I used the Flex block for whatever was needed, misc appointments, or catch up, or skip it & keep working the day & use it for something else at the end of the day, or finish early to sit & catch my breath, whatever was needed. You are awesome & killin' it. I love watching your energy & motivation.
My son that eats everything really is like a tank and I have to fight him off of eating things that aren't edible STILL and he's about to be 2 years old lol. And I totally agree with your take on block scheduling. That's why my blocks are a little longer because I know life will happen with all these kids, so I schedule 1.5 hours with the hope of hitting at least an hour for whatever that task is. And the Flex block really is a game changer!!! I call mine my miscellaneous time, but either way, it's nice to have that built in fail safe for catching up on stuff or taking a breather.
