- Bihac is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bihac Una is a term you often hear and it refers to the river Una as well as the national park of the same name (Una National Park), it would be a great injustice to say that this river is only beautiful, the divine beauty of this park is something you have to see with your own eyes in order to believe, if you are traveling through Bosnia and Herzegovina, there is no excuse, you must visit Una and Bihac.
Bihać is a city in the northwestern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, located near the border with Croatia. Bihać has a rich history dating back to Roman times. It became a significant settlement during the medieval period and later played an important role during the Ottoman Empire. The city was also crucial during the Bosnian War in the 1990s.
The city is known for its Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian architecture, including landmarks like the Fethija Mosque (originally a Gothic church) and the Captain's Tower. Bihać's old town area is charming, with narrow streets and historical buildings.Bihać is a gateway to the natural wonders of the region, including the Una River and nearby national parks.
The Una National Park was established in 2008 and is located near Bihać. It covers an area of about 19,800 hectares, protecting the natural environment surrounding the Una River and its tributaries, such as the Unac and Krka rivers. The park is known for its stunning waterfalls, with the Štrbački Buk waterfall being one of the most famous. The emerald-green waters of the Una River, along with its numerous cascades and rapids, make it a picturesque and serene destination.
Together, Bihać and Una National Park offer a combination of cultural history and breathtaking natural landscapes, making it a unique and attractive destination for visitors.

Absolutely love it.
Water is life...the pristine water is darling me to jump in.
I would definitely be kayaking and snorkeling as if the time stopped unless the current tries me to pull me under to the river- floor.
The historic landmarks and churches are gems to this destination. Besides, fewer ppl are on the street. haha
I really love this music I have used it in the past. It grabs the mood in the film, I reckon.

A river and a city that absolutely belong together in this video! Even if you make the river Una the protagonist of this video right at the beginning with extraordinarily atmospheric footage. In harmonious images you capture how the Una is experienced and enlivened by the inhabitants of Bihać through various activities. With excellent shots of Bihać itself, you also bring us closer to this amazing city. But ultimately the path also leads us back to this unique river Una.

Hello my friend. You showed us a beautiful Balkan city again. I envied the men under the tree in the middle of the water the most. By the way, I should mention that Bosnian women are really beautiful. I don't know if I mentioned it before, but my roots go back to the Shumen region of Bulgaria.
