I love how this album focused more on a rough edge with guitars and driving drums and a bit less orchestral parts. I mean I love BG with the orchestral and symphonic stuff, it’s amazing. But it’s cool to see them go back to their roots to show us all they still got it.
Fantastic song from Blind Guardian. That chorus after the guitar solo, as it goes into the key change is catchy af. Nice reaction. OH, that intro was cool af too. lol

I love Blind Guardian.
I have never had nor bought a blind guardian album ever, BUT as I’m a fan of demons and wizards I’ve decided to give this album a chance and man I loved it. This is the only one I have bought so far, this is fierce the speed and lyrics dark AF, klaus is awesome on vocals all is on point! This is a master piece from A TO Z, it has all that demons and wizards has!
Regarding the Power Metal discussion - I heard a guy say "Blind Guardian is like Power Metal on steroids"

This is not heavy metal it's definitely power metal, the newer bands with more synthesizer or just the new wave of power metal the more old school stuff including this is epic European power metal or USPM- U.S. power metal. Anything with clean soaring vocals and the double pedaling with tremo guitars is going to be in the power metal camp there's just many sex of power metal

This song is an absolute banger. These are the songs that unite the world, music fans of all genres will find what they are looking for.
The glory in the second part of the piece needs this structure, in my opinion. Probably just the story that wants to be told has been underestimated? This will bring BG into the HALL of FAME!
