That is the only point on the machine that I do not find solved well. Why doesn't the machine count the cups and then indicates that cleaning with a cleaning tablet is necessary? But worst of all is that you have to pull the plug during the process instead of having a real cleaning mode.
I know. I'm still trying to understand how to do this. What happens if we let the entire cup finish with the oil cleaning tab inside without unplugging it halfway through?
@@clj4469 nothing happens other than that the whole tablet gets cycled through and it doesn't get time to act in the brewing chamber. The idea is that you unplug while the tablet and water are inside of there and they get time to dissolve the oils.

Do not turn the grind setting knob more than one notch at a time to prevent damage to the grinder. You can read more in the manual on page 12 here: to.philips/6050z134K. Hope that helps.
Can anyone help me regarding lubrication part? Do you lubricate and leave the lubrication on the parts described? Will the lubrication get in the coffee? Thank you
You probably already got an answer, but just hold the coffee bean button three seconds for pre-ground coffee and when the milk is done frothing just cancel the brewing process.
Hi there, thank you for your question. :) Depending on how often you use your espresso machine, see below frequencies: If you brew 1-5 coffees a day, lubricate every 4 months If you brew 6-9 coffees a day, lubricate every 2 months If you brew more than 10 coffees a day, lubricate once a month Hope this helps!
Thanks for your interest in this particular model, Mike. Unfortunately the LatteGo hasn't made its way to Canada just yet. At this point in time we're also unsure whether that's still something that might happen or not. No news we could share regarding that at the moment.
Understandable. If you brew 1-5 coffees a day, we recommend lubricating every 4 months. In case you brew more cups of coffee daily, we advise lubricating more often. You can find more information here: to.philips/6057GgR09. Hope this clears it up for you!

This is my second Keurig Coffee Brewer. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf The first one lasted 6 years. It worked beautifully until the day it didn't. It was hard to go back to the drip coffee for a couple of days while I waited on my Keurig to get here. There is a huge difference in the taste. Keurig makes a really good cup of coffee. This new one is a little different from my old one. I find putting the water filter in was easier than on the old one. Attaching the water reservoir was also a little different but once I figured it out, it too was easier. This new one has the auto off feature but is not programmable like the old one. Only three cup sizes instead of four. The odd thing for me was how much lighter in weight this one is compared to my old one. More plastic and much less metal in the construction of this one. The price is so much less than the original Keurig that I bought and the coffee tastes the same so all in all I am satisfied.
Dear Philips, could you please create a normal video on cleaning the device? The one you have here is misleading, almost like a fraud. You are cleaning a clean coffee machine on a video. In real life it takes fair 2 hours to clean the machine during monthly cleaning. The whole brewing group will be filthy with ground coffee everywhere which is impossible to clean up from silicone grease. A huge part of the cleaning routine which is missing in the video is cleaning the machine's base where drip and water container are installed. Philips engineers made cleaning it especially hard by designing lots of tight spaces with corners and small pockets where ground coffee and sludge slowly rotting covering with mold. People who design it must clean it as a punishment daily! It's awful! Additional accessories for cleaning coffe machine base are flashlight, chopsticks, and wet wipes. The drip container also has tight spots created to hold the mold, mud, and slime. The dishwasher will not clean those places. Rough additional budget on this coffee machine maintenance for a year, around 30 hours maintenance and cleaning, and 250 EUR for service materials: water filters, degreasing tablets, silicone grease, descaler solution etc.

My gf just bought the EP3241/50 is there any major difference between that model and de EP3246/70? Should I cancel that order and go for the /70?
Hi there, congrats on your new coffee machine! The main difference is the colour. Besides that, they the same. We hope that helps! Have a nice day.
Thank you very much for the quick reply. Glad to hear that the only difference is the colour. Have a nice day as well 🙂
Which direction to turn the knob in the beans reservoir for fine or coarse coffee?
Hi there, Jack. Thanks for your message. You can adjust the grinder settings by pressing down the grind setting knob and turning it to the left or right.
Thank you
Yes, leave the lubricant in there. It won’t get to the coffee.
I have a LatteGo 3243/50 and i wonder -is there a way to make only milk without coffee ?
You probably already got an answer, but just hold the coffee bean button three seconds for pre-ground coffee and when the milk is done frothing just cancel the brewing process.
Sorry if I missed it here but how often am I to lubricate the brew unit? Thanks!
Hi there, thank you for your question. :)
Depending on how often you use your espresso machine, see below frequencies:
If you brew 1-5 coffees a day, lubricate every 4 months
If you brew 6-9 coffees a day, lubricate every 2 months
If you brew more than 10 coffees a day, lubricate once a month
Hope this helps!
Is this available in Canada? I'm having a hard time finding this exact model and colour from the video online.
Thanks for your interest in this particular model, Mike. Unfortunately the LatteGo hasn't made its way to Canada just yet. At this point in time we're also unsure whether that's still something that might happen or not. No news we could share regarding that at the moment.
How many grams of coffee. In the upper, middle and lower levels
When I lubricate do I let it dry then watch it or do I let dry and then put it back ?
Hi there Alia, Thanks for reaching out. When you lubricate you can let it dry and put it back. Enjoy your cup of coffee! ☕
@@Philips Why do we lubricate and when ? i want to buy my first machine but i dont wanna do that a lot
Understandable. If you brew 1-5 coffees a day, we recommend lubricating every 4 months. In case you brew more cups of coffee daily, we advise lubricating more often. You can find more information here: to.philips/6057GgR09. Hope this clears it up for you!
how do you changee from ground to beans? (Just answer thee question here please asap) thanks
Just hold the Strength Button for about 3 Seconds till it switches from Coffeestrength down to Coffeepowder.
Does your machine come with the user manual?!
How often do you apply lubricating brew group?
Hi, thanks for your question! We advise you to lubricate the brew group once every 2 months. Please make sure to consult the lubrication table in the user manual and lubricate the brew group with Philips grease. We hope this helps. 😊
Can you please clarify the parts that are dishwasher safe?
Hello, I have problem with the machine, the 3 indicators on the right side are on and it doesn’t work!!

Doesn't washing Brew Group also wash off the lubricate?
Hi there, thank you for your message. Can you please provide us with the model number of your device and your country of residence? Then we'll be able to assist you further.
@@Philips I haven't purchased yet. I was just wondering if washing the brew group washes off the grease as well, or is it waterproof
Thanks for the quick reply. We advise to lubricate the brew group every 2 months, but if you simply rinsing the brew group under the tap doesn't remove all the lubricant. You can find a more detailed explanation on maintaining and cleaning the device right here: to.philips/6051HBNhx. Hope this clears things up. :)
@@indoom You are just rinsing the brew group under the faucet, not scrubbing it. the grease is thick and wont rinse off easily.
When i pull the coffee button and then the aroma strengh button for 3 seconds it starts but is stops automatically ... how often should i do this before i wait the 15 minutes ... ?
Hello Sascha, thanks for your question. After you press the aroma strength for 3 seconds, the pre-ground coffee function should be activated. At this point, press the start/stop button to start the brewing cycle. When half a cup of water has been brewed, unplug the machine, and wait for 15 minutes. You only need to do this once. For more information, please refer to page 14 of the user manual: to.philips/6058zdMzK. If you have more questions, please let us know.

Is the brewing unit supposed to be waxy?
Hey Giovanni, thanks for reaching out. No, that's not the usual situation. Please remove and clean the brew group. Let us know if you need any help!
@@Philips thank you for the quick reply. I cleaned as instructed, but there are some areas of the brewing unit that have this waxy paste. Could this be residual oil from the original lubrication?
Is this something I can get assistance through an assistance chat?
Hey Giovanni, thanks for getting back to us. That could be the case. We're happy to help through here but if you share your location we can also get you in touch with our local team. Kind regards.

so I actually need to unplug the machine while it‘s working?

I purchased this machine a little over a year ago and it has broken 4 times. And that is not the worst thing, its the lack of customer service , I keep calling but there are never any supervisors to talk to. And they never call me back. All I hear from Philips is a lot of BS, very busy, or what ever. Philips has never returned my calls and have every time denied me to talk to a supervisor.
Thanks for coming back, Michael. Unfortunately we can't help you further on this platform. Could you please reach out to us on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter? We’re available to help you there. We hope to hear from you. Thank you!

@@Philips Got my machine back today again, arrived broken again. Water leaking out of the bottom again (same problems). Ever since brand new mine has been very loud. Anyone else have this issue?
The price is so much less than the original Keurig that I bought and the coffee tastes the same so all in all I am satisfied.
you can program it (30 min, 60 min, 180 min) - check the manual...
Very helpfull
So funny, first you do the cleaning and then you plug the power in. And the cleaning is supposed to be battery-supported?
You serious? 🤣
Hello Oleksii, thank you for your detailed comment, we really appreciate your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you have found the cleaning process tedious, we can imagine this is not ideal. Again, your feedback is greatly appreciated. Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns we can assist you with!
