You won’t believe how many videos I’ve watched to understand V and I equations with time domain graphs. This is the best video by far. Wish me luck on my interview this week
When switch is opened, inductor will change its polarity so that diode will be short circuited. In this case if we apply KVL, then Voltage across the inductor is getting +Vo know. Please clarify this sir.
Hi Sir, in the 34.04 min video explanation delta iL is mentioned as 2 x Io. But the converter datasheet explains ripple factor which is delta iL/Io. Could you please provide info on this ripple factor?
Thank you. Very helpfulness I suggest you say"This is a math model for a Continuous Current Form type DC buck converter" at the beginning, and explain where you are going. Anyone know a link to a public domain non linear charge and discharge model?
Does anyone knows why diode doesn't conduct when switch is closed (please i want explanation not only just saying is reversed biased) thank you in advance

Very good explanation about the waveforms across components.

When I am zooming my output voltage waveform it is triangular in nature, what should be its nature?
Have a large output capacitor, it will smoothen the output waveform

Azedine azzedine diode conducts when Vanode-Vcathode >0...(ideal diode) .When switch is turned on Vanode-Vcathode=-Vin
Thank you very much arjun raj
Hi from Mexico
also why inductor changes its polarity when switch is opened??
Azedine azzedine inductor must continue with current in same direction this is only possible if inductor acts as a source
Thank you very much arjun raj
inductor opposes any change in current
sir the avg voltage across inductor should be zero .
Thank you sir.
Vert good explaition but why to dimensionne thé inductor(L)
to use min required inductance value to meet the delta I and frequency, and not to use a higher value than required.
Sir how Ts/2 come
thank u sr
