This run has everything, but mainly props to the co-commentators. I love it when there's both an experienced commentator as well as someone with no knowledge of the game gets a spot on the virtual couch acting as a representative for the audience to ask about things that might not seem noteworthy for the runners since they're so used to it happening in the game. INTENSE gameplay and sick moves by the runner, I definitely don't know about this game before this but now I'm super interested. Also Char_bunny is just lovely

Incredible speed run, probably my favorite of the event so far. Sad I couldn’t see it live, but glad the vod is up. I’m sure Jaxler won’t see this, but congrats on the WR! It was an amazing run. That’s to the GDQ team as well for such a quick turnaround on these uploads.
Came here to see if a couple glitches i ran into casually were used in the speedrun, had no idea getting mad and mashing the shotgun at the gluttony head & accidentally skipping a phase was one of the harder tricks lol. Congrats on the WR
This was SUCH a fun run to watch, and the world record was HYPE!! Jaxler seems like an awesome guy, too. :) Super wholesome. Like, I'm really not sure why, but this is my absolute favorite run of AGDQ 2022 so far! There's this really wonderful charisma between everyone on the stream, from the host to the commentators to the runner.
I've had this game in my wishlist for a while now and watching this run convinced me to give it a buy. Loved Medievil as a kid and this definitely gives me the same spooky vibes!
I heard a lot of good things about this run before watching and I am beyond satisfied. This game is so fucking cool and the tech is soooooo good. Amazing showcase.
