I've used the squadron pro on other bikes for several years now and they stand up great and give a great pattern...if you need good light they are worth every penny...yes they sit a little odd the one on my crf450 does too... But works beautifully...led lights built well cost a little... Clearwater and baha both do it very well. It may not show up well but I have a 23 390rs and the baha makes the stock headlight look like the 1980s....and the stock beta is not terrible my estimate is it's beam is 1/4 as bright....the sp doesn't narrow to a pencil driving beam with no side coverage like the stock beta does..it keeps the side flood on and just adds the deep driving beam.
Thanks for the feedback! Yep I think overall it is a good light and actually pretty compact which is important with the wiring that beta has behind the handlebars! Enjoy The Ride, Jared
You're one of the best content creators for anything Beta right now so please keep it up! But this light...ya idk. The light not finishing is kinda a hard pass.
Thanks for the kind words! Positive feedback is always appreciated! The light is good, the mounting issues aren't a super big deal. Enjoy The Ride, Jared
I conquer. Originally in 2017 I planned on a 390 but the dealer didn’t call back for a week. I ended up with a Husky FE 350. It’s been a great bike with 18,000 trouble free miles. But the OH still wants a 390 RS. This channel is most helpful for me as a Beta Newb. Out in California though so I’m not sure where I’ll get a 24. But I’ll buy the parts I learned about here from their shop. I’m rural so essentially my keyboard is my shopping cart.
Installed one on a 2021 Beta 125rr without issue a couple months ago. I don’t recall any hardware issues? Fits tight if you keep the horn. I actually just bent the horn mount vs putting how they showed to do
I say I have not heard of that lol. I suppose we will find out but I am 99% sure the motor/ electronics is the same as the standard RR components and they run all sorts of crazy lighting. Enjoy The Ride, Jared
If you noticed Jared commented on the light not changing when he throttles the bike. A sign of an electrical circuit not being able to handle a certain load will cause the light intensity to change when at different RPMs. My $0.02 worth.
The Squadron has a really good even optics. The OEM was good but spotty and not 1/2 as wide. I have a Baja Designs XL Pro and from what I see on this v, the Squadron has better more usable optics.
installing mine now. Thanks for the recommendation and tutorial. Helped my decision. Cannot wait for the '24 NE24!
Did you install it ? And one what bike?
Yes. Just like he showed us. Well worth it. Lit up the trail.
Keep up the content ! I refer back to your vids a lot when I’m working on my bike thanks a lot!!
Glad to hear it! Thanks for the positive feedback! Enjoy The Ride, Jared

Will this fit the 2018 500RR-S Mask!
Any way to adjust the light beam on this once installed. Mine is aimed up top, how to bring the beam down?

Did you notice any type of gap between the headlight mask and fender after install? I just installed mine and there’s at least 1/4 gap

Good Morning, maybe we got a different batch of screws? Either way it was not a big deal just odd for the price tag. Enjoy The Ride, Jared
Wow that is bright. 😮
Yes it works good! Enjoy The Ride, Jared
Read somewhere that the Xtrainer stator cannot support the Squadron Pro. Looks fine here even at idle what say you?

@@3SeasRecreation I read it on MotoMinded product description of very similar product using the same Baja design LEDs. Listed under 2022 RR

Thanks for the feedback! Ill have to look into the XL Pro! Enjoy The Ride, Jared
What is the silver box mounted onto the baja design light?
Not really sure, could be the 2-stroke rectifier. Enjoy The Ride, Jared
The light is strong and looks good but the design seems sloppy
Yes I agree, maybe 10 more minutes in the design room and this thing could be killer! Enjoy The Ride, Jared
I ordered this with my BYOB. I guess beta will have to deal with the shitty instructions
Eh, I am sure Beta has installed many of them and will get it on no problem! Hope you enjoy that new bike! Thanks, Jared
$360 and they don't even give you fitting screws 🤣 I'll stick with my 7 year old $30 Nighteye LED bulb.
I would agree LOL. I wanted to see if I was doing something wrong but I had no directions.. Enjoy The Ride, Jared
Algorithm comment
That's why Baja Designs sucks, I havent & won't buy their lights
Yea I think the light is good, super bright. Just the hardware is a bit off.. Not exciting for $350! Enjoy The Ride, Jared
