Beautiful work as always! As a new photographer shooting m43 I’m always appreciative of the nuggets of wisdom you include about technique in these videos, like hyperfocal distance and subject isolation. I’d love a whole video devoted to some of your tips for getting the best out of these cameras!
Thank you, so good to hear that you like my programmes and I will keep your suggestion in mind.
All true - this is the one lens the full frame community should jealous of. Performance vs. Form Factor are second to none.
Excellent examples - again
Thank you for your interesting comment.
Beautiful photography. In my travels in the Southern California deserts, I use dual EM1X's and have the 7-14 f2.8 glued to one, and the other X gets the 12-100 as my favorite walk around lens. I use dual cameras because of the dust out there. Cheers!
Thank you for liking my recent production about the 12-100 Pro Lens and for letting me know what gear you take on a shoot.
@@DerekForss you bet :)
Dream setup
@@michaelj.1121 Took years to build my kit. Cheers!
Great Video
Glad you enjoyed it
Hi Derek do you take meter on the brighter part of the scene & AE lock ? Nice photo & technique.
I do meter near a highlight but on OM-D cameras you can lock the reading by half-depressing the shutter button and keeping it by maintaining light pressure before taking the shot. Takes a bit of practice but quicker to implement.
@@DerekForss thanks
Is daylight WB the best setting in church interiors Derek? Seem,s counterintuative?
I have tried several WB settings inside churches but today I leave it on Auto, save to RAW and adjust in post-production .
