I visit Washington state's Mount Rainier National Park on a bright and sunny summer day. It was a beautiful day to drive around the 14,411 foot high majestic mountain. Some of my stops include...
02:14 Christine Falls
04:34 Mount Rainier Scenic View
08:25 Narada Falls
14:50 Paradise Valley
21:16 Refelection Lakes
23:34 Stevens Canyon
28:52 Box Canyon
Thank you soooo much! My Rosa and I were in this spectacular beauty in summer, 2012. We were re-living the experience with great still shots this week when I decided to see if there were any posts on You Tube. We found your quiet well-photographed tour that brought back even more of the JOY. GREAT WORK! THANK YOU!
I’m going here next month on a teen tour!! I literally cannot wait!! Mount Rainier has been on my bucket list for a very long time. The Pacific Northwest is an American treasure. I would also in the future love to see Mount St. Helens. My dad’s mother was in Yakima WA in 1980 when it erupted. She said day was turned to night and she couldn’t come home for a week until the ash cleared from the sky. She did take ash home with her but it got lost somewhere unfortunately.
Thank you so much for posting this. I miss the park and you've given me a way to visit from home!
Tim,
Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful videos from all around the world. It is so wonderful to look through your eyes and see places I will never get to see in person. This one is special to me. As a youngster (over 60 years ago) my family lived only a few miles from the entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. I still love that place.
Thanks for another beautiful video of your trip.
Thank you ! This is absolutely beautiful & I love it especially cause there was not any annoying background music or much talking that makes me quickly look for another video ! So i was pleased to hear little talking and no annoying music & i was glad that you did not speed up the trip as others do, cause it is dizzying & is so not fun watching these road trips in fast motion
I go in July ! You made me more excited then i already am thank you👏👏👏👏🏞⛰🏞⛰🏔
Great ,Great video. THANKS nice frend Tims and great day for you.😀😀😀
Nice job with the videos. Mt Rainier area as well as GNP offer great scenery for we motorcycle enthusiasts. As does the BC area. Icefields Parkway ride a must.
Yay!...
You made your trip without the clouds!
Awesome blue sky!
That's the only way to go.
Timing is everything.
But you should've stopped into the Paradise parking lot.
It's an easy 'hike' to see Mt Rainier right in your face.
Those trails are simple for the first 500'.
It's worth it.
Especially on a clear day in the mountains!
Just got back from visiting & even though this is a beautiful video being there is awesome!
Thank you! ♥️

Is this the drive around loop#3?
A plea to visitors to the vast and great Cascade Range : please stay on the rock lined paths at Mount Rainier. When meeting other hikers on a narrow trail step to the side, but please, don't walk beside the trail.
How much time would you suggest we would need to visit mount rainier? We would like to stop at same spots as you...
+Mariam Martinez If you just want to admire the scenery from the various overlooks close to the road (like I did), then depending on your starting point you can easily do it in one day.
Give it a two to three day camp trip!
Hi Tim, are you still on your roadtrip? or are you back now at home. I was wondering if you can put your roadtrip layout like when you started from IN, you said you flew to SF? and then from there, you rented a car and drove out West. Where did you stop driving and did you catch a plane back to IN? Nice rental car by the way, how many total miles did you put on that nice SUV, hope it was unlimited mileage, lol...Stay healthy coz I (we) like to watch your vlogs, how beautiful mother nature is through your camera lens...
I am home. I flew to Denver and drove to San Francisco from there. I flew home from San Francisco. I put about 6000 miles on the car. There will be complete details on my web site after I finish the videos, which are almost done, I am working on the last ones now.
Thx for the cool vid (and NOT ruining it with some stupid BG music)!
Awesome SHaring !
