yah I think she's basically watching other idols performances and copying it. so it just felt like a cheap version of sunmi and chungha. like she just needs to find her own thing and make it work
People are saying that she shouldn’t be a part of Kpop but like .... don’t you think if that Koreans didn’t want her, they wouldn’t have signed her as a trainee in the first place ???
they signed her cause they knew that having the first white idol would get a lot of attention, and any exposure is good exposure. and look where we are, it worked

Why is it wrong for her to debut in Korea? K-pop is a music genre why should it be forbidden for people other than Asians to make music in this industry? lana genuinely doesn’t deserve the hate. even though she lacks stage presence, that is something that is emphasized with solo artists, and she has good vocals and dance otherwise. also!!! no hate to kaachi but a HUGE difference here is that she seems properly educated on korean culture (her main audience/platform) and her korean is very fluent. i don’t see anything wrong with foreigners in kpop unless they are undermining the seriousness of the industry

honestly my opinion on Lana is that I feel like she wasn't ready to debut just yet , it she trained for a couple more she would be more advanced in the things she did..I don't have any problem with her being russian , that's perfectly fine! im just saying , her specifically , like her music and vocals could've used more work although her vocals aren't bad , she just could've done better not saying it in a hateful way. i can tell she's an amazing person :)
The biggest problem was that the music was for much, higher than her voice. Now I can appreciate her real voice and it's really pretty. Thanks for fix it.
nvm I was making a rearranged version of Fever and noticed this. When you wear headphones/listen through laptop, it sounds normal. When you play it with your phone the vocals are a little louder. I know why this happens although its hard to explain, but I'll definitely fix this in the rearranged version
Хочется выучить языки просто чтобы сказать, что в России живут люди разной национальности и с разной внешностью. То, что они при этом полюбили к-поп и захотели быть айдолами , не делает их koreaboo.

at the time i didn't even know you were the one who made this version. i just remember thinking, "finally. someone who understands and hears what could be too." i'm grateful this exists.
still coming back to this... so much wasted potential in this song, and why? just why? what were they thinking debuting an idol with a less than half-assed song, that you legit physically can't listen to cuz the mic noise hurts your ears? no wonder she ultimately left and now lives her best life....
I think people would’ve been less adverse to her after debut if her company just properly mixed the song. You’ve made it sound like professional kpop, and actually complement Lana’s vocal color. The MV is also just not entirely that great, it’s a bit cheesy and corny. I think they could’ve modified the MV and the choreo to be a bit more fluid and musical- but, regardless, THIS video of yours where you have fixed the song is great!

i don’t think this would be such a bad debut if she had more stage presence and at least look like she tried harder on the stage
Exactly
same...but i think probably when people are concentrating too hard on something they can forget to control their expressions...i saw lana was practising really hard behind the scenes, and her team were crowding around to cheer her on for her performance...maybe she was just nervous
yah I think she's basically watching other idols performances and copying it. so it just felt like a cheap version of sunmi and chungha. like she just needs to find her own thing and make it work
Her Stage presence is great omg
Lol truth
THIS SOUND MUCH BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL HSJSJS
You cat is so cute
It is approximately 20 degrees cooler in this shade
People are saying that she shouldn’t be a part of Kpop but like .... don’t you think if that Koreans didn’t want her, they wouldn’t have signed her as a trainee in the first place ???
they signed her cause they knew that having the first white idol would get a lot of attention, and any exposure is good exposure. and look where we are, it worked
Ally March right, which makes me mad because I feel like Lana didn’t fully use that to her advantage but then again there’s nothing really she could do
@@allymarch7132 no because Koreans liked her visuals
skinny legend you do realize asians love pale skin and large eyes right ?? yikes the privilege
@@allymarch7132 okay and what does that have to do her being hated tho
Lana was done so dirty... Take the wheel is such a good song, yet people sh*t on it because of the mixing and Lana's nationality. She deserves better as both an artist and a human being.
I dont see any difference between this and the original one
@@osen9881 Me too at first, but after listening to both you can clearly hear the difference. The original one was not mixed properly, Lana's voice is too loud compared to the instrumental and the volume changes sometimes
@@pinkicechuu I cant feel it, both are good and the same for me :/
@@osen9881 try using headphones
@@analyarriaga1226 ok
her company did her dirty. It's sounds so good when it's properly mixed. Great job!!
for real tho,, the mix in her debut song is literally a hate crime
am i the only one that actually likes her ksskksksk
Right? I actually quite like her. She seems really genuine and nice. Idk why she's got so much hate.
Nope, you are not the only one
Nope I like her too
this is the debut she deserved... she's properly trained and everything. no one deserves a flop for a debut.
Saw a video about her. She can speak 3 languages, has been in Korea for years, is an EXCELLENT student and is very good at dancing covers. She's not a kboo lmao. She knows Korean culture perfectly and when you're in another culture you start to act like the one you in the be fully accepted. I tried to stay away from her because no one around me accepted her but I said fuck it, if there is a problem it's not from her it's from her agency. And it makes me laugh because people accept kaachi because there is one Asian girl in it... while it's oli london agency (jimin's sasaeng) and they steal content from other idols...
Some people are just so damn harsh to her like on her Twitter a lot of people ask her to die... like wow girl just follows her dreams because an agency TOLD HER she could, I'm sure most of them, including me, would have taken the chance. People need to chill.
Korean Russian English and Chinese. Girl is a genius
Kaachi isn't signed to the same company as Oli London and none of the members are sasaengs, though I do think it's racist and unfair to support a group with any members over a soloist who learned the language and culture of South Korea.
@@_twinklesprinkle it depends if the non kor members are willing to learn the culture, but if they only do it because of clout then that's when it becomes disrespectful to the korean culture
@@hawldon2915 The girls went to Korea recently, and have been studying Korean culture. The foreign members were really enthusiastic about trying different foods and didn't shy away from asking questions or trying to learn about Korea's culture. The girls also have been studying Korean and the lyrics are a lot less cliche. Of course, a lot of these changes are a part of their career, but considering who the girls are as people, they would for sure have gone to Korea when given to opportunity to do all of these things. One interest almost always leads to many more. :)
So people are hating her because she isn't Korean? *Jesus take the wheel.*
@@su-yin1719 that's how it literally is for every russian/all of Russian society. She's an ethnic Russian. People try to focus on "oh her parent is actually" but that applies to every ethnic Russian. For white people we are never "white enough", for East Asians we're not "Asian" enough. S and W Asians though generally don't treat us like this tho. So much freaking Racism including the whole concept of trying to fit us into "races."
I genuinely hope that your version ends up on her debut album or something! This mix is too good to be ignored. The original version falls short in comparison to this one. But I like the song though. Kinda reminds me of Stranger by Sigrid with the bass! Great work!!!
she's so talented but whoever original layered the instrumental with the vocals did her dirty
@@juliavtts i'm not saying she's the most talented soloist now or anything im just saying she has enough talent to be the next big thing
gowon's crunchy scalp I don't think so. She lacks technique and her dancing is average. If you watch her live stages, you can see she has no stability at all and even her backup dancers overshadow her... Besides that, she's a kboo

@@dani1577 also if you will say that she is a kboo because "sHe HaD sUrGeRy To LoOk AsIaN" then im sorry but ur a whole ass CLOWN because thats just a rumor, which lana herself has proven wrong by showing her childhood photos in which she had the same eyes and everything so saying she had surgery is just a blatant lie
i would actually stream this lmao, the original version is so badly produced ngl
I know literally nothing about sound mixing or whatever it's called - and when I first heard Lanas song I was like 'whys this sound bootleg af'
Why is it wrong for her to debut in Korea? K-pop is a music genre why should it be forbidden for people other than Asians to make music in this industry? I mean if you are thinking like that than you should also be thinking that Thai, Chinese and Japanese idols are also Koreaboos right? And if you think that it's ok because they are Asian and fit into the concept, than aren't you being racist? Because then you think that they are similar to each other but a white person stands out too much right?
Just a thought of an Asian.
DoneDumpling we need more people like you
ngl you kinda snapped with this opinion
These are prob also the same people who think we need more Asian representation in the western industry and yet are barring and criticizing non-asian people from joining the asian industry like ??
I applaud you 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
lana genuinely doesn’t deserve the hate. even though she lacks stage presence, that is something that is emphasized with solo artists, and she has good vocals and dance otherwise. also!!! no hate to kaachi but a HUGE difference here is that she seems properly educated on korean culture (her main audience/platform) and her korean is very fluent. i don’t see anything wrong with foreigners in kpop unless they are undermining the seriousness of the industry
it actually sounds like a proper song and not something created in garage band.
Wow your producer ears *jumped out*
wait did you just call out garageband?
Edit: actually you know what a normal person could tell that it sounds like shit in the original lmao
Lmao I called out GarageBand because its commonly used by amateur producers, but its actually a pretty good DAW
ZSunder yah pretty good for a free one at least
Wait GarageBand is that bad? Like you can’t make a Kpop instrumental with it? I’m about to dive deeper to it lol
@@thanhhungkkk3564 You definitely can, but that would require so much creativity and time. GarageBand is usually used by people who want to make music but don't want to learn how to use complicated DAWs
Somebody better hire you
To be honest? In my opinion the fact that she's white and is in korean industry isn't bad and I really understend her choice! You know, music industry in Russia is not the best (straightly saying - sucks) and she wouldn't make even that big career that she has now. I'm from Poland and in my opinion the music industry also isn't the best here, so I would also travel to other country to make better career (of course I would learn the language (like Lana) and respect the culture).
@@aeops9774 From the things I heard before, she's like only 25% Asian (if I'm wrong, please, someone correct me). But yeah, I agree with you. As long as you're good in singing or dancing, respecting the culture and speaking fluent korean, there's no problem with you being in kpop industry. :)
@@aylinxdu She is from Sakhalin island which is literally in asia and the 25% you are referring to are her tatar heritage which is in asia as well. I am not a Lana fan or hater but I am annoyed at how many people are misinformed about her and just assume she is white.
This whole thing is still hard to grasp (perhaps because I'm an immigrant myself). People (adults of any age, ethnicity, sex, gender, height, nationality, head size) can go and work anywhere they damn please without having to justify a single thing to anyone in this universe, all they have to do is go and be accepted by the country and the company - wich is what happened.

honestly my opinion on Lana is that I feel like she wasn't ready to debut just yet , it she trained for a couple more she would be more advanced in the things she did..I don't have any problem with her being russian , that's perfectly fine! im just saying , her specifically , like her music and vocals could've used more work although her vocals aren't bad , she just could've done better not saying it in a hateful way. i can tell she's an amazing person :)
periodt.
Exactly
The biggest problem was that the music was for much, higher than her voice. Now I can appreciate her real voice and it's really pretty. Thanks for fix it.
That's SO MUCH better. I wish she had such a debut.
THANK YOU! ever since i heard the song i knew the mastering was sooo messed up
we can always count on you to fix the kpop industry 😔✋
Can you do this with Gfriend’s Fever I feel like it has the same problem
It sounds alright to me. Its a little too panned but overall it doesn't have as much errors as this one
nvm I was making a rearranged version of Fever and noticed this. When you wear headphones/listen through laptop, it sounds normal. When you play it with your phone the vocals are a little louder. I know why this happens although its hard to explain, but I'll definitely fix this in the rearranged version
ZSunder cool thanks!
Maybe its just a tendency...?
Fever seems fine...

Хочется выучить языки просто чтобы сказать, что в России живут люди разной национальности и с разной внешностью. То, что они при этом полюбили к-поп и захотели быть айдолами , не делает их koreaboo.
They should use this as the official and call it 'LANA (라나) "Take The Wheel" [Prod. ZSunder]'
I think the song is a bit generic, but she has a nice enough voice. Obviously theres ways to fix bad singer in post production, ghost singers, etc, but she's good enough from what I've seen.
Also I need to learn about music production so that I'm not sitting here like a dumbass, no clue how you fixed this... werk

I don't care for Lana all that much or her debut song, it sounded just...meh. There wasn't really much substance to it. But this sounds much better, I can at least listen to it and enjoy it. Good job!!
these days, i love coming back to this so much because i genuinely like the song. there was so much wasted potential and i searched to see if someone else thought the same. now over a year later and i'm still in love with this as i was then. little did i know i would come to love everything else you do after this too.
at the time i didn't even know you were the one who made this version. i just remember thinking, "finally. someone who understands and hears what could be too." i'm grateful this exists.
still coming back to this... so much wasted potential in this song, and why? just why? what were they thinking debuting an idol with a less than half-assed song, that you legit physically can't listen to cuz the mic noise hurts your ears?
no wonder she ultimately left and now lives her best life....
Much better and im so sad of her😢,she just want to be an artist..why so many hates

At least she she's fluent in Korean and has a degree from a Korean university unlike some other foreign idols, lets be real.
my god, THIS REALLY SOUNDS VERY GOOD !!! I really don't understand how the company could have made so many mistakes in making this song.
This song actually bops but no one wants to talk about that
this sounds amazing 🤩🙌🏻🙌🏻
So, I just listened to this recently on Spotify and it caught my attention. I then went to RUclips to look up videos and stuff of her. idk how is it for you, but for me, as a Russian k-pop stan I feel happy that she actually debuted, I don`t really get why so many people are telling that she`s a koreaboo.. because she moved to Korea for training(?) I don`t really remember, she learned the language and she actually did well with her debut. she`s very sweet and if you really look up for her content it`ll be not that bad as many people think it is
oh... and sorry if i pissed you off somehow by telling this here... and this version of her song actually sounds fantastic

I don’t quite understand why people hate on her? Is it because most people assume Asians are only Chinese, Japanese or Koreans?
