No, you can go with anyone (except Tonks, Bill and Charlie, and the 5th year friends like Jae, Diego and Badeea) it doesn't matter how high your level with Barnaby is or any other character!
As it's a 4th-year quest, I'm guessing you can't take Jae, or Liz, or Badeea because if you were doing this quest at the beginning of the 4th year, you wouldn't know them yet. Likewise Charlie, who was my 1st choice and I didn't have the option. :(
I'm now really sad because a few days ago I leveled up my friendship with Bill and now I can't get three diamonds in the "Meal with a friend" thing to convince Bill, to continue the celestial ball side quest because my attributes are no where near high enough and it's too expensive 😥 But at least I can watch this and see what it's like 😀 Thank you for making this video!!
@@julesfocagosset thats what i or most of ppl want too. Giving us a choice and chance to build up relationship with other characters, having side quests outside main story. More like harvest moon i think. But its not that easy.. more routes and choices more spaces on our storage lol. And its hell for programmer and game dev

Seeing this I am happy with the dress I chose. I didn't realize you could try all of them on and just went for the one I liked the best without seeing the hairstyles that went with them. Luckily I think the hairstyle that went with my favorite dress was the prettiest.

Shilo Schweppes I heard from someone online that if you failed it the first time, it will happen again so you can get another try. The person said that they failed the first time and got it again in their 5th year, chapter 5. Hope this helped!

I think you only need level 8 to be able to tell tonks you want to take barnaby. I don't think you actually need level 8 to ask him.
