For anyone who was confused like I was why he wasn't changing BMA to strong - apparently the shrink potion targets the strongest thing on the map anyway, with the priority of reinforced DDT > any ZOMG > DDT > rest in obvious order. I was so confused why he wasn't upgrading it or changing the target, but apparently neither of those things affect the main reason you buy it anyway. Also, upgrades don't affect the transformation either, so I was pretty surprised to learn all that. Also, given the fact that Sauda used to 1TC on Resort, I would guess that Sauda + perma brew could easily do it too, so good on Chris for making it fun with Etienne, which I think was MUCH harder than Sauda would have been.
I did Sauda with a perma brew once on CHIMPS on Resort. It was rather difficult (though I was limiting myself to two towers, including Sauda). Don't know if there have been any relevant nerfs since then (but it was a long time ago so things likely have changed).
Maybe there IS a way for you to try "Village only" - if you go for Sauda and manage to survive with her until Top Path T5, then go for Homeland defense, this might just be enough to beat chimps.

Concidering glue can solo hardmode with a village on logs, I woulden't say so. Besides I think he played a bit rough and should have definently gone for Total Transformation early on in the 70's. Alchemist has better poping power both in early and mid-to-late game than what a lot of people give it credit for. Altough I only played Battles 2.

Both crosspaths are pretty good with middle path alch. Faster throwing is popular with unstable concoction, and you usually only need one unstable cock, but acidic mixture dip can be really helpful if you're going total transformation because of the +1 damage to MOABs and ceramics.
verry good strategy! when you are doing the ice tower, since ice cant affect the bad like at all, I recommend using a hero that could solo it or almost solo it, same thing with glue really

after this series is done, if you want to keep doing chimps, you should do a video on, can you beat chimps without using any 3rd 4th or 5th tier towers.
I do enjoy this format but I would also honestly love to see some Shorts with actual helpful tips for us players cuz there’s soo much to learn in this game…Just as an suggestion :)
I'd have to disagree with "alchemist only" given that you've also used the hero. And yeah, I do get why you did that, since the alchemist doesn't have the cammo detection so it would be impossible, but also I don't like that in order to give the alchemist the camo detection you have used a tower which does loads of popping power. You could have used like a village to detect those bloons to keep the run more legit when calling it "Alchemist only". But don't get me wrong, this is in no way a bad achievement. It is very impressive in fact.

As someone who is veteran level 2, and has seen chimps be beaten in so many odd ways, I never thought I would see an only alchemist (with Etienne) chimps happen. Good job and I hope you're looking forward to the Ice and glue monkeys.
Etienne is in range of the other alchemist why not just give one of them acidic mixture dip and then berserker Brew that way he does a little bit more damage as well?
@@Nasurisu makes some towers that can’t make it to being able to afford etienne possible because you can start with geraldo rather then having to save up for it

Plus Geraldo can give multiple towers the ability to see camo and its restockable. Not to mention the fact that he’s been allowing the hero to pop things so you could even give a tower like glue gunners a jerry’s fire and pop most camo rushes in the game solo if they’re given camo detection

I honestly think using the 43k on more tonics would be more effective than a BMA, given the value of just 8 or 9 tonics.

Acid pool is great for that placement. Things go through the acid multiple time in the front and it does great group damage

Alchemist buffs don’t work on Etienne. Even if they’re applied to him, they do nothing to his drones or UCAV.
