- Hi, I'm Diane. This is my fourth comedy show "Exquisite Bad Taste" where I do jokes about masturbation, bad taste parties, being ginger, offensiveness and getting blackout drunk.

I know I'm late to this party, but "THIS TORCH DOESN'T HAVE ANY BATTERIES" is just brilliant large-scale writing. Your comedy gets better with each passing year, these callbacks in Hurricane Diane almost reach a Fawlty Towers level of intricacy. So glad I found your channel. :)

Just watched this during lockdown ,one of the funniest stand ups I have seen , professional...confident so well written , sharp intelligent.... warm , incredible talent , can not believe she did this in 2012.....not one joke was old, her style and comedy beats a lot of well known stand up today in 2020. I cannot begin to tell you how much you have improved the quality of my life over the last couple of weeks. It's like discovering a new novelist with a dozen novels you've never read, each one of which makes you cry with laughter. As a fellow ginger and fellow Sherborne survivor, this show is a personal favourite, but they are all great. Thank you!

Damn, it's been a while since I've burst out laughing when watching a stand up comedian. It's been years, I think, normally I just grin or nose exhale but this woman made me loose my shit! Jim Jeffries was the last one to make me laugh so hard. I'm going to buy her DVD if Miss Spencer has produced one, just to say thank you. It's definitely worth the money.

Red, black, brunette and... okay blonde, all hair colors I am cool with. I draw the line at blue and green, because that is natures way of telling you an animal is toxic.
Fun fact: My brother-in-law is very Swedish, like if he stepped off a plane in Sweden people would ask him directions (at which time he would say he doesn't speak Swedish because he's a God Damn 'Merican!) and his family actually maintains some of the old stigmas. Anyway, I have a ginger aunt, a ginger best friend so I always thought it was like anything else, just another flavor (honestly, my area is so diverse we just separate into what language you speak, if you are a native English speaker you are with us, no matter race or whatever, everyone else is a foreigner). One of his major horrors was the possibility of my nephew coming out ginger (which we know is a distinct possibility because both my sister and I get natural red hi-lights if we are in the sun too long). I also know for a fact that my sister passed the ginger gene to my nephew because he gets red hi-lights in his hair (very faint, but you can tell if you look carefully) and I constantly say "Hey look, you have a ginger on your hands." He always tells me to stop teasing. Bonus Fun Fact: He only agrees that my best friend and his family are good gingers, he looks wearily on all others. I mean really, come on, at least they're not French.

I love the way the first 20 min on set is MURDERING the men😆 Straight away, openly laughing. And there's a pregnant pause from the women until they become more adjusted to the style, I feel because of societal structures. I appreciate you, Di, for breaking barriers.
