    Fisichella is a master of style. He is a master of singing technique, the best role model for all tenors. Listen to the clarity of tone, how perectly he disposes of volume, how he handles the melody, the frases and the text. Bravo mestro!

    He doesn't have a tempo issue. The tenor has to maintain a high tessitura after an entire evening of high singing and he is trying to push the conductor to move it. The conductor, naturally, is resistant or just doesn't care.

    • @morganchan2465
      @morganchan2465 5 лет назад +15

    Per quelli che si lamentano del tempo: è ovvio che dopo un’opera tanto onerosa come I puritani, Fisichella stia cercando di far capire al direttore d’orchestra che deve velocizzare i tempi per sostenerlo. Ricordiamoci che lo strumento della voce umana è l’unico che si stanca davvero durante una performance. I suonatori di fiati, archi etc., se sono stanchi, al massimo si possono fermare qua e là o suonare piano; se la voce non ce la fa più (o meglio, il fisico) bisogna trovare qualche escamotage. Anche perché non si tratta di musica sinfonica, ma di opera, dove tutti gli strumenti, compresa la voce, collaborano, ma a essa è riservata una posizione di privilegio. Quindi se il cantante non canta non si fa all’opera. E se il cantante ha bisogno in quel momento di un tempo leggermente più veloce, lo fa capire al direttore e il direttore deve seguirlo.il problema non è Fisichella, ma il direttore che non vuole capire.

    Безусловно спето очень красиво и технично, но надо признать, что это несколько облегченный вариант, стоит послушать этот отрывок в исполнении Джузеппе де Стефано и Марии Каллас или еще вариант с Николаем Геддой

    Fisichella is too short. That's my theory. If he had been a little taller Sutherland would have chosen him as her "tall tenor" instead of Pavarotti. He would have made a big spash at the Met and his press agent would have dubbed him the "King of the High Cs".

      Non capisco, non sono un esperto. Quella nota che fa a 5:57 non è il famoso FA sovracuto? Inoltre, ne approfitto per fare un altra domanda, mi ha sorpreso a 5:43 dove la melodia mi sembra diversa da quella di altre esecuzioni che ho sentito in passato, forse il cantante si è preso qualche libertà?

    • @mirjamdevries9376
      @mirjamdevries9376 6 месяцев назад

      @@Aniblasfemus Anche io non sono un'esperta ma direi che si tratta di un Do sovracuto. Il Fa è una nota in falsetto che ad alcuni direttori d'orchestra non piace molto ed allora la sostituiscono con il Do acuto, nonostante sia presente nello spartito. Se le interessa c'è l'intera opera su youtube, basta digitare I Puritani bellini youtube 1985 opera completa. Saluti!

    I haven't seen or heard much of this guy, but on the clips I have seen he is seriously challenged on timing. He is often ahead of the beat here. And the portamento is often unpleasant. His high notes are a thing to behold for sure, and it seems to be pretty big sound, albeit with an overly fast vibrato

    • @absdyna
      @absdyna 7 лет назад +6

      His vibrato is not actually overly fast, but it is faster than that of the Puccini tenors and Verdi tenors. He has a quite nice vibrato in fact, if you don't set prior expectations on it. And yes, his timing problem is just about legendary! It's really funny when you have an excellent tenor like him, but he's always screwing with the time.... the pit doesn't find it too much of a problem though, they just catch up to him.....

    • @builderjunkie0126
