There were definitely a lot of issues of part 1, like Johnny and Daniel bickering, which is annoying, Devon cheating was bad. But other than that, it was very good, and Peyton List was phenomenal, and even though Tory went back to Cobra Kai, I definitely think she gets redeemed in the end of part 2.
Season 5 was my favorite so far, and this one was a slow start and felt like it was retreading on things like Daniel and Johnny fighting or making Kreese the villain. Theres fun to be had, but Im hoping for much more to come in the next two parts
I really liked the part. I wish they didn't do it like that but whatever. I fully believe Tory is the best female character. I felt they made Kenny kinda soft, but i enjoyed how they brought his brother back and he talked sense into him after the fight with Miyagi Do. I think they messed Devon up with the cheating. It definitely made me feel bad for Kenny. He deserved to make it over Devon since she was so distracted, Hawk should have been there from the jump. I also enjoyed the Miyagi plot twist. I think it will show how he got so wise. Hopefully Daniel and Johnny can mature a little more.
Excellent and thorough analysis bro, good job! Yeah I thought it was solid, and especially episodes 4&5 were terrific. Sets up beautifully for the tournament in part 2. Haven’t been a huge Tory or Kreese fan throughout but they were both excellent and I loved where their stories went. Robby finally getting a win was significant as well, I was glad for that.

Second Demitri was absolutely sorry in episode 2 during the frat party fight like this man beat Hawk in the school fight, was the only Miyagi Fang member putting in work against the Cobras in the Larusso House fight, made the semifinals in the season 4 All Valley and was putting belt on the Cobras during the dojo fight in season 5 even getting his lick back on Kyler. But in season 6 he’s running and struggling with frat boys when they should be light work for my guy. But yeah outside of that good first 5 episodes.
For me the highlight of the 5 episodes was the Johnny/Mike fight. Like others I am over the whole Johnny daniel arguing all the time they supposed to have moved on from that but the writers keep dragging them back. The same thing with Kenny and Devon, I think its just lazy writing to rehash these things instead of trying to develop the characters more. Also wouldn't of thought Tory would join CK but rather quit Karate all together or at least join a different Dojo her returning to CK after everything in S5 makes no sense. Also not sure why they need to make Stingray look even more creepier than he alread did, with him with a bunch of little kids in the woods, it was bad enough with him hanging around a bunch of teenagers as it came across a tad creepy, but then decide to have him alone with a bunch of little kids in the woods? They should of thought that through more.
Tory rejoining CK actually does make sense. I think we are seeing the inverse of Johnny & Daniel with Sam & Tory. Back in the original film, Daniel was the underdog Miyagi Do student who moved to a new place, was poor and had no friends while being bullied by the karate king on the block Johnny. When you look at Sam & Tory, it is clear who the underdog student is and it's the Cobra Kai student whose had to fight for everything in her life compared to the Miyagi Do student who has a rich loving family and nice house. From a livelihood standpoint the two couldn't be more different in complete favor of Sam. Tory needs the title while Samantha wants it. I think Tory is Kreese's redemption arc cause l believe he knows he's going to die from the bite he took from the Cobra and wants to go out on a good note as he does seem to truly care about Tory's best interest compared to Johnny where all he cared about was using him to bully and torment Daniel & Miyagi. Kreese dying would allow Johnny to potentially take back Cobra Kai and own a business possibly letting Tory become a sensei
I gonna put one insane theory out there now. Think about Torys mother and the fist she made with her last breath. She fought and I doubt she died just of the blood clots. The doctors must have seen it but it wasn't there. So what if kreese told kim that Tory is gone and won't come back. So I still wonder how kreese is traveling back and forth but maybe with that private jet but since we still haven't see the dimmak technique that was teased in s.4 I say kim was at toys house and she killed her and then the technique made that blood clost because it's known to do heart failure or more. Kreese told her to defeat someone with heart you have to be heartless!!! How does the truth come out now? 1. When chozen will hear about that he might know that technique and will be suspicious and tell Tory. Or most likely kim will say something to kreese or Tory like in a argument: your mother had more fight in her than you or they show her that technique maybe even kwan will show it and then kreese will understand what really happened torys mother and then we have that conflict and he will finally join Daniel and Johnny because he sees that ck is evil. We have that what I always thought will happen. All vs the kim clan. Kreese maybe even silver will join! Remember that the weakness of kreese isn't Johnny but more likely love and protect women

I have experience with this certain form of Toto or just Korean karate and I have down syndrome and I hope that , and hopefully I will find out who is the writers of the show and not let it and quite too soon because it’s not right for me not being in the show because I need to be in that show and I not I hope that comment gets red next video of the cover on this Cover on it for free and hopefully that we can keep this show going and I’m going on and hopefully that weekend give me into the show and I will not stop until I am in the show. Solid season, ruined Kenny and Devon, plot armour against Hawk once again. 7/10 so far, but hey it could get better in parts 2 and 3.
