- Fourteen months and about 40.000 photographies after my first Flowers Opening Timelapse, my second flowers work has arrived. You can see here a lot of different species of flowers, from the common Lilium to the strange Tigridia, which I took from Holland. Special thanks to Roger Subirana (rogersubirana.com/), who is accompanying my images again with his fantastic music.

Podréis ver muchos tipos diferentes de flores, desde la común Lillium hasta la extraña Tigridia, traída desde Holanda. Black background, strong lamp and small aperture I guess? Very well done David. I am doing the same with corals, but your video quality is even higher! Do you digitally remove any flicker? Or do you shut down the auto aperture by your lens?
Hi! Thank you for your words. I usually use LRTimelapse for deflickering, but it's important not to use a very small aperture because it will cause flicker. Maybe you could try with a F/14 or F/16. Good luck with your project :)
Thanks for your tip, David! I am often forced to use a small aperture as my subjects (coral polyps) are so small.. Digital Anarchy has a great anti-flicker filter as well!

can you make a similar video, but 1 hour long and only with dark background for those humans who are sensitive to bright screens? I need a long version because I am going to use it as a wallpaper, and short loops are quite boring when you see the same pattern again and again.

May I suggest that the next time you make a beautiful film like this, you allow the viewer to see the flower, fully opened for 2 seconds before moving to the next? The opening is one thing, the sheer enjoyment of seeing the flower fully opened, is another.
