    Hi Potato Talkies. Just started watching your channel a few days ago. Though I have no plans of immigrating, I must say that your channel is quite different from other Indian (NRI) channel. You have interviewed many people who have shared their life as an immigrant, the troubles and hardships. Also different schemes whether healthcare or child care . Your videos are of great help to new immigrants . Keep up the good work.

    I am an independent lawyer with 5 year of work experience. Basically my situation falls in self employed catagory. Will it be a good idea to hire a immigration lawyer from Canada so that the process becomes less error free. I know your idea of this channel is to keep consultant and agents away but self employed cases are a bit complex and does require hefty paper work too. An error here n there can hault the application. And it can get tricky which document is to be produced n which shouldn't. Kindly assist on this and if possible make a video on this. M sure there must be many in self employed catagory who does feel direction when it comes to this.
    Thank you for everything. God Bless You both.

      @Potatotalkies  4 года назад +1

      The docs are pretty straightforward for self employed... its in our videos and on the ircc website... but sure, if you dont have the time, go with an RCIC licensed consultant in canada.

    Hello there!! There's another question which is stuck into my mind because of what other people say in that regard. Actually I'm from a commerce background and I've done masters in it. So what if i go for a lecturer job in college and not in any banking sector? Would my experience as lecturer be counted as good experience for getting a Canadian PR or chances are more if i take up a job in the banking sector? Because many people say that you would probably not get the PR if you are a teacher but if you work in a bank then chances of your file getting selected from the pool, are high. So is this actually the case?

      It won't be very different... but obviously you would have less options to choose from and may need to settle for a lower salary.

    I have old age parents who i live with in Delhi. Two sisters who are married in Delhi. My sisters and brother-in-laws keep visiting us and we keep visiting them many times during the year and during various festivals. I have a high paying IT job in Delhi. My only dilemma is leaving my parents , my sisters , my brother-in-laws here and moving to foreign country like US and Canada. It seems i am not strong enough to forget them and move on. On the other hand, i see pollution issues every year during October-November. Parking woes wherever you go except Malls because of hug population. Unplanned market places (except Connaught place and central Delhi which are well planned and beautiful), Unplanned and poor colonies even near posh areas and you get their view when driving on certain flyovers. What should i do ? On one hand, i have a life in US or canada on other hand, my parents, my sister and my brother-in-laws..

      Wow your point of view is so much familiar with mine. India is still very poor country and very under developed compared to western world.
      Despite living in mumbai i feel like im living in some dumb ground.
      Theres dirt and trash everywhere.
      Nobody gives fuck to traffic rules
      Politicians have divided this country on the basis of religion, caste.
      Rich is getting richer and poor is getting poor.
      There is just so much wealth inequality in india that you can see kids begging on traffic roads which are full of Mercedes and rolls royce in mumbai. It hurts to see this condition of india.
      Europe is overall better place to live in whole world but Europeans are yet not ready for indian immigrants and their language is also very different. Learning new language in adulthood is extremely difficult.
      That's why most countries left for indians to go are usa , canada , nz, australia , uk , ireland . People from these countries have worked with black people already so brown indians won't be problem for them.
      My advice to you would be to gain enough money to go directly in these countries with investment visa. Benefits of investment visa is that you can bring your parents , spouse and kids with you in these countries with citizenship.
      But amount required for investment visa is very high.
      For usa its around 1 million dollars and similar for other english speaking countries. If you really want to go with your parents then go with investment visa. Your whole family will get green card within 2 years. That's just my suggestion. If you don't like then ignore my comment :)
