@@aranha6285not in the slightest the Norse are so much weaker innately to the point they aren’t even the top people in their verse they simply claim superiority as Odin did when he wanted to kill Ymir with the aid of his brothers.
Zeus had innate power to best multiple titans using his blade of Olympus all primordial beings easily overpowered by the power of Zeus and imprisoned to be tortured for eternity.
Odin fought a holding back kratos, Atreus not trying to kill him and a hesitant Freya and still was beaten into submission.
Zeus fought a bloodlusted kratos amped to the gills in gear and power arguably a more powerful version of kratos albeit innately weaker in raw strength. Still kratos had a bloody slugfest and damn near lost basically dying and coming back.
Take for instance what Odin seeked power wise the entire game Zeus had at his fingertips. Zeus had the sisters of fate under him that controlled the fate of every being in the Greek world from mortal, God and primordials they were stated to possibly be the most powerfuk entities in the universe due to their physical capabilities and the power they hold. The power they held which in comparison to the Norse with the Norns who are glorified seers that make predictions based on intent this is nothing.
The Greeks also had innate power while Odin has to require in knowledge of spells that’s what makes him formidable. He isn’t the strongest Aesir while Zeus was the strongest Greek god. So innately Zeus was above a bit holding back kratos while Thor the strongest Aesir gets overpowered by a holding back kratos.

At the risk of offending most of the people tuning in on this post - because I think a lot of people reading this might tie into the South European pantheon of gods than to the Scandinavian - I will reply to a couple of responses i just got to an earlier post I made in regards to Zeus and Odin, who I thought would win in a fight. I said I thought Odin would win, and I got someone to remind me that Odin was prophesied to die, and Zeus would not. The other said that Zeus had Medusa's head carved into a shield, or something, and would turn Odin to stone.😅😅😅
My opinion is that if we went strictly by mythology, Odin and Zeus are not even close. Odin is way ahead. Zeus is more comparable to Thor. And it is publications like Marvel comics that scale Thor's powers down, so the character might be more relatable and interesting. Thor is also a sky god, only slightly weaker than his father, Odin.
Here are a few points I would like to make in explanation: -
    1. We all agree that neither one of these two gods (Odin and Zeus) is the progenitor of their pantheons, right? There were other, older gods that began their pantheons. And these younger gods came later and took over.
    2. At that point of taking over, in my opinion, I would place them all at par with one another. I don't want to go into who had a tougher fight defeating their father, or their ancestral deity. A very good case could be made either way, and in the absence of further evidence to the contrary, I would say that Zeus and Odin were equal in power right after the Titanomachy. I mean, to become the rulers of their respective pantheons, Zeus with eleven brothers and sisters, together with the Hecatoncheires and the Psyclopes defeated the Titans. Odin with his two brothers, Villi and Ve defeated Ymir, the ancestral deity (like Uranus) responsible for the races, giants and dwarves. I would put both achievements at par with one another, unless again there is evidence, not supposition, to the contrary.
    3. Shortly after that Odin, Villi and Ve created the human race. And soon after that, the prophesy of Ragnarok was made known to the brothers. Knowing that they lacked sufficient power to prevent Ragnarok from happening, the brothers Villi and Ve decided to sacrifice themselves and put their powers into Odin, so that Odin would be strong enough to avert the disaster. Now if the saying, "The whole is greater than the sum of its parts" holds true in this case, then I would submit that at that point that Odin became more than 3 time more powerful than he previously was. He became more powerful than the addition of his power, Villi's power and Ve's power. I would put his power level at the very least 4 (Four) times what it previously was. That also means four times what Zeus, who has not gotten any power boost, has.
    4. Shortly after that, Odin, who is now four times more powerful than he previously was goes on a quest in search of answers to what he might do to avert Ragnarok. He travels the nine realms and soon comes upon the well of Ymir. It is revealed to him that he needs to make a major sacrifice to get his answers. So he plucks out an eye, throws it into the well, and water gushes out. He drinks of the water and knows that he needs to be near the point of death for the answers he seeks to come to him. So he hands himself on Yggdrasil, the tree of life, and stays hung for nine days. When he was at the very point of death, the secret of the runes was revealed to him. He is now a master of deciphering the runes. That, in my opinion represents another significant power boost. So he is now at least ten times more powerful than he previously was. Which is also ten times Zeus' power level, if you have been following me so far.
    5. It was also revealed to Odin that if he wants to avert the disaster of Ragnarok, he needs to have a son that will surpass him. A protector of the gods and of man. Odin, a god of the skies, makes contact with Gaia, the embodiment of the earth, and together they bring forth Thor. The protector of gods and man. Let me also point out that Gaia is the mother of Kronos, Zeus' father. So, through Gaia, Zeus might actually address Thor as, 'Uncle!'
    6. So, Odin, at ten times Zeus' power level has a son with the earth goddess. Can you have a more divine birth than that? But it didn't end there. Loki plays a trick and cuts off Thor's wife's hair. Thor threatens to kill Loki, Loki in trying to save his skin promises to replace the hair. In his attempt to do so, he makes contact with two dwarven families, craftsmen of surpassing skill both. And gets them to compete with one another in making wondrous things including a replacement for Thor's wife's hair. To make a very long story short, the result of the competition also produced Mjolnir, an incredibly powerful hammer so heavy that only Thor could lift it. And Gungnir, a heavenly spear. A symbol of Odin's supreme authority. Gungnir is said to possess many properties, most notably of which is the fact that when thrown, it never misses its target, it can pierce through anything (that means it can pierce through Zeus) and any oath sworn on the spear is unbreakable. In my opinion, that is yet another power boost in Odin's favor.
    7. The fact that the Asgardian gods are prophesied to die at Ragnarok is the very reason why Odin did the things he did, and took his power to a ridiculous level. The prophesied death of the Asgardian gods at Ragnarok is not a testament to their inferiority or weakness. It is testament to just how horrendous Ragnarok is. Odin can tap Gungnir on the ground a speak an oath that will render every single weapon in Zeus' possession ineffective, including the aegis. You speak of Medusa's shield? Odin can render the aegis itself powerless. If any one should know how to do that, that person is Odin.
    8. Zeus is more comparable to Thor. Marvel comics is the one scaling Thor's power down, making him more relatable, and putting Zeus ahead of him. In spite of all that, Odin is still too far ahead for me to realistically compare Zeus to Odin.

That is debatable and there are several things that contradict that. Example when balder died he came back from the dead. Odin himself came back after being stabbed, and hanged by his own spear more powerful than before. The final thing is who’s to say Odin can’t strip zues immortality away. Odin is a god of death, and sorcery. His wife for example made balder impervious to all harm, so why can’t Odin do stuff like that. One last thing while zues does have a undying body he can’t heal properly. This is shown when he losses to a monster and his tendons are ripped out. He is only healed after he has help from his family. All Odin has to do is pull of a successful crippling injury or slice off his head.

@@robertrainford6754you missed the point that Greek Gods supposedly have divine forms, as shown when he showed it to Dionysus’ mother when she was pregnant, the mere sight of his divine form is so much, mortals die by just looking at it, and Zeus isn’t that dumb either, yes most if not all gods go for the council of Athena, but Zeus is impossible to trick, and like Odin, he is omniscient/All-Seeing and Zeus is even stated more than once to also be omnipresent, trickery is not an advantage to neither side, especially to Odin who is the much smarter one.
Odin has his runes which he has few that can counter Zeus’ Master Bolt as it is a weapon, and 2 of Odin’s runes involves, near invulnerability to weapons, able to manipulate thrown weapons. But Odin’s magic isn’t a huge advantage against Zeus either.
Now question is, is Zeus capable of taking away Odin’s magic and powers? He already did more than once to Apollo and once to Poseidon, can he do that to Odin? His magic definitely not but his powers, not sure either

I find it interesting that you seem to prioritize brawn over brains. Zeus with the brawn and Odin with the brains. I love Zeus. His powers are way up there. On a scale of one to ten, I think I'll give Zeus a perfect ten. But I would also place Odin on that same level. But more than Zeus, Odin has many more ways to win in a fight of that magnitude. Zeus has his aegis (lightning), but that seems to be all he needs to be the most powerful god in the Greek pantheon. Odin, on the other hand, has runic magic, a spear that can penetrate anything, and any oath sworn on the spear is unbreakable. Also, might I mention that he is a god of war? Which means, when it comes to combat standards, I think Odin also has what it takes to outfight Zeus. The fact that the Norse mythology has Ragnarok and the Greek mythology does not have a comparable event that will bring about the death of the old gods is not indicative of Odin's weakness. It simply underscores how devastating the end-times for the Norsemen was prophesied to be.

He was also a god of war.
Didn't zeus get bodied by typhon? He had help from hermes. Also the cyclops were the ones making the thunderbolts.
For me odin can win since he can counter zeus with his IQ, Hax, Sorcery. He literally gave lightning to thor 😂. Athena was the IQ and she was the one plotting the battles, while odin can just do this himself.
For the immortality argument, immortality means you can live forever not that you can't be killed. But even so sealing and magic exist.

No thats not what immortality means for the greek gods. They were functionally and fully immortal meaning can not be killed. Sealing? Get your head out of a comic book and the Norse who are fated to end dont have the juice to seal Zeus. Not to even mention the enemies Zeus fought were greater and quite frankly it is stated Zeus power was greate trhen the rest of his pantheon combined. Odin gets bodied.
