    • @BeyondTheGame_E

      Yes. Unless you want that 60p look which is more vivid and lifelike. In that case you should film, edit and export in 60fps.

  • @JCurtisMedia
    @JCurtisMedia Год назад

    Question, you mentioned to shoot fairly wide. Help fill the great area in on this particular part of shooting. When shooting wide it seems like you cannot get as close to a player with detail as you would be able to if you were shooting tighter. Although I understand shooting wide will allow you to be able to track better as well as cover more area, but if you are 30 yards away and shooting on a 70 to 200, then it gets to be a bit difficult to maintain the quality in my opinion. What suggestion would you have or is there something that I missing on that? Thanks

    • @BeyondTheGame_E
      @BeyondTheGame_E  Год назад +1

      Ultimately you need to frame for the shot that you want. My advice is to shoot slightly wider than the shot you want so it gives you more room to track the ball. And as you get more comfortable you can zoom back in.

    • @JCurtisMedia
      @JCurtisMedia Год назад

      @@BeyondTheGame_E ok that makes sense. Since I have begun doing this I have typically been shooting for a particular person that is on the field as opposed to the entire team so I do a lot of moving around on the field. Is this standard? Or do you pretty much just wait for the shot.? I’ve been doing a big mix of both photos and videos so I usually have the 70 to 200 but if I am on the sidelines and I would like to get a watch shot then they have to be pretty close. I know it’s a balancing act but do you have any advice for it?

    • @BeyondTheGame_E
      @BeyondTheGame_E  Год назад

      @@JCurtisMedia Yeah I tend to move around too to get some shot variety. As far as lens choices, like you said it's a balancing act. You can start with a wider lens and finish with a tighter one or change every quarter or stick with a 70-200mm the whole game. It's up to you and what you want to achieve.

    • @BeyondTheGame_E
      @BeyondTheGame_E  Год назад

      @@IMDABROWN That’s a different thing. The lower frames rates like 24, 25, 30fps have a more cinematic look while a higher frame rate like 60fps looks much more vivid and lifelike. It’s not a sharpness issue, it’s just a different style. The same way on TV a sitcom looks very different from a drama series.
